Our Goal Difference & Form....its Rubbish

So a trophy winner your not happy with
He won the F.A.Cup, and the Charity Shield a 2 team tournament, you talk like he is Mourinho, he is an average manager, who got the luck in the final (thankfully) that Pardew didn't, the football with the squad we have is dire, Johnson, Pino and Larsen are good players, Glasner is not a good manager, i hope we win on Wednesday, but i will be delighted to see the back of him and and a more attacking manager takes over, like i have said time will show what Glasner is, totally average, in my opinion.

This calendar year we have garnered six fewer points than West Ham having played a game more. Still, we should do better than them in the PL for the remainder of 2026

So he hasn't won any other trophies sorry he didn't win the lge for us , your hatred for him stops you looking at his time as manager and achievements in the game

Are you sure it's his hatred, or, your man love for him? Just observing. Lanzo has some valid points, which, imho, you(ish) & others triumph as the be all & end all, valid. His football this season has been crap, awful run, awful finish(comparable) & we have gone backwards, the final not withstanding.

Lanzo has, looking from the outside, literally been the only poster to call out OG & not without merit.

Anyhoo, let's get Wed's sorted . . . COYP.

Glasner lost me after Sunderland game were he throw the kids under the bus without playing them , so no man love there , if he is lucky lets keep him because we suffered enough bad luck , so don't think that I really want him to stay , but no way would I de-cry what he has achieved for us as lucky , from winning trophies to staying in the Premier League all managers need luck , we have had 2 years of it

I have no hatred for Glasner at all, IMO he is a poor manager, i want the best manager for Palace that is possible, and it isn't him

69 from set pieces and 2 from penalties.
And the Premier League and possibly the Champions league, and we finished with our equal lowest place for 13 years, and possibly the Conference league, quite similar really. 🙄

That dear sir is needle in a haystack you don't know until it shows no results look at Chelsea , spuds . We are still mid devision club trying to get to the big boys , with that you need the right players to , small steps

We have had 45 points twice now and its our 5th lowest points 53 only got us 12th so lge position is ill elephant its points that count and yet again 40 plus points is king to avoid relegation , our position is if we can't quilify for Europe next season , then we start again , Chelsea would love to play in Europe aslo spuds next season ,

Lots of teams have had disappointing seasons. I would say only Arsenal, City, United, Villa, Bournemouth , Sunderland, Leeds and ,possibly, Brentford fans will be happier than us (certainly if we get a result Wednesday) and most have not won a trophy. Brighton will be gutted that a draw would have given them Europa (props to Man U for turning up in a mean-nothing game) and Brentford slipped away at the end and missed a big chance late in Sunday's game that would have got them Europa: they ended up with no Europe at all

They won the league, fair play to them. I can't pretend to care massively about it. Overall, it seemed like a poor quality Premier League season - which Arsenal contributed to as Champions.
Main poor thing for us is the let downs at home. It's not on with our support. Although I was at the Liverpool game and didn't get to many others. That was brilliant.

Only 10 Home PL victories over the last 2 seasons.
The second lowest number of goals from 'Open Play' in the PL the season just ended.

... and a European final.

I think that was Glasner's mandate, probably his own too, but his management has deflated the week to week season and supporting of Palace.

May yet all end in glory however I do yearn to be excited for each match again and not just holding out for one moment at the end of the year.

He's far from average, what an utter joke,
