The expansion of Islam

It's prohibited in the Quran and the Torah as well as the Old Testament. As a ban it made sense two thousand years ago: pork can spoil and be quite hazardous if it isn't properly cooked and in hot countries it was a bit risky back then.
Many of the old rules made much sense back in the history of their time.
A bit like," dont marry her if she is 39 and has a history of doing half the village".....Ancient Druid commandment. Old rules are often dispensed with in modern times. Some of them, anyway.

Is not eating pork anything to do with religion? Is it mentioned in any holy text?

I'm just asking.

Should air staff be expected to know this anyway? Why don't they provide a translator and other services for us at their expense?

in Saudi Arabia, do schools organise visits to Christian Churches, for educational purposes ? it might be a good idea, to spread the word and all of that ? Pope Leo has been talking about building bridges, peace and other stuff that is at variance with Donald Trump.

Do any of those all Muslim schools do that?

Qatar.

They pump millions into our education system. The traitors in government sign it off.

1. University and higher ed
  • Direct Institutional Grants: UK universities have received at least £25 million in direct funding from Qatari sources.
  • Specialised Academic Centers: The Qatar Central Bank provided significant funding to establish the Qatar Centre for Global Banking & Finance at King's College London.
  • Transnational Education: Over 55 UK providers operate higher education partnerships in Qatar. This infrastructure allows institutions like the University of Derby to run accredited degree programs funded locally via Al Rayyan International Education.
2. K-12 and Primary School Grants
At the school level, funding is strictly focused on language development and community infrastructure. [1, 2]
  • Arabic Language Programs: Qatar Foundation International (QFI) partners with the British Council to actively provide grants directly to UK schools. These funds buy resources and cover curriculum costs to integrate Arabic language and culture into primary and secondary education.
  • Community and School Injections: State-linked charities have targeted funding toward specific community centers and local institutions
The government let's them do it as part of other deals.
The Qataris pump much more into the US system.

The real source of the invasion is directly from the Arabian centre ME

No one would dare make Muslim schools follow rules that all the other schools have to.

why is that ?

I bet the pubs are s**t. Least there wouldn’t be queues to get a drink.

Relevant to the OP, you might put Japan & China at one end of the Continuum - ie not much Expansion. Where is at the other end ? Lebanon ? Kosovo ? Marseille, France ?

closer to home ?

the AI gave me the answer below.......

Savile Town in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, is frequently identified as the most Muslim town/area in England, with roughly 99% of its approximately 4,000 residents identifying as Muslim. It is characterized by a very high density of mosques—including the large Markazi mosque—along with halal butchers, and Islamic clothing shops

It's the neoliberal elites who want their wages to be as high as possible.

All while they slag off the past....which is the only reason these countries pump money in....because of the soft power of past glories.

Personally I agree, the Chinese, Qatar money should be politely handed back.

If we can't run our own universities then we don't deserve them.

The people who ruined our future shouldn't get to live in the manner of past glories.
