If we put ourselves into the position of Israel PM after October 7th....and we take the position that there was no foreknowledge and no dark practices going on.....Well.

We would be putting ourselves into a horrible position. Not only do we have over a thousand murdered civilians (I'm not sure how many were military) but we have hundreds of hostages.

I would have to think deeply about what I would do.....thankfully this doesn't fall onto me.

I would behave very badly indeed.

Machiavelli taught that if you go to war it's essentially all or nothing.

No point leaving an injured enemy, if you think they would strike again.

But when the consequences are killing so many civilians.......Count me out.

I'd rather eat these biscuits and not live in the middle east.
