Thanks for posting. Looks like the project is going backwards with no contractors in place.

Most optimistic is Woody Johnson has got some better stadium building options

Most cyncial is Steve Parish thumbing through an old yellow pages

Typical SP.

He disappears when things like this happen or people are upset over performances/transfers.

Yet when we get to a final he will appear trying to get lots of attention.

The whole stand thing is a mess and hes the one at fault being that he is in charge of running things.

This thing should have been completed when covid hit it's all excuses all the time from the club.

If the thing really is now delayed again and going to cost 250m+ it's not worth it.

Brighten will end up finishing building there new womens stadium before we do our stand.
 
This a complete joke and very p...sed off. So first SP is telling us that evrything was going well and fans would see progress in January,that don't happen. Now 5 months later we have no main contractor in place which according to the article has been known to SP for some time.
Yet again he is blowing smoke up the supporters a...s. of the opnion now that this stand will never be built unless some one else takes charge of the project as SP appears to be out of his depth. Over to you Woody

You actually have no clue what has transpired. Who decided to change contractors, nobody knows, it could be anyone of Blitzer, Harris, Parish or Woody.
Updating fans is pointless, as every word is taken as gospel and used as ridicule, when building projects are notoriously flexible on progress.

Your quite right I do not know what transpired but am just used to people being honest particuarly the chairman if CPFC.He has been fast and lose with the truth with regard progress and I believe the fans deserve better. As regard construction I was the MD of a multi million pound construction company before I retired so do have some knowledge on how building projects work.

Then updating fans I think is a courtesy surely, the board will have decided if there's been changes. The new stand and extra seating is a big deal I think and if the project has changed materialy I want to know.

AFC Bournemouth have planning permission to increase capacity 20,00
To be completed for 26/27 season.
Planning, money raised and approval in 5 days !!!
