If/when WHU get relegated, who would you like us to buy from them?

I have a WHU supporting mate who acknowledges that as they are going to go down they will 100% need to sell to balance the books, he reckons that in terms of damage limitation / keeping player sales down to just 2, then its most likely going to be AWB & Summerville, (he rates AWB at £40 mill & Summerville in excess of £60 mill)

if they don't sell those 2 then it would probably mean that they need to sell 3 / 4 / 5 of the others to achieve the kind of return they require.

Once relegated contract and transfer clauses often kick in. Will not be 40 mil for AWB nor 60 for Summerville. They're not getting 100 mil for two players. Bowen is their asset, second is Summerville. Liverpool want Bowen, currently maybe 75mil +. Relegated, becomes maybe 60 mil. AWB relegated at most 25 mil. Summerville 50 at a push once relegated. And what release clauses there are will come out if they want to leave: which they will.

It was said long ago by someone "in the know" on radio that west ham are in trouble and have to sell even if stay up. No wonder brady is leaving.
 
I fear we might turn into west ham with all these 30 million signings made recently that havnt worked out and will not have much resale value in a few years.

Yes that's my concern too.

Saying that from the West Ham current squad I like Bowen, Fernandez and Diouf. But they will want way over the odds for all of them which means they won't be coming to us. Maybe if they do sell a few of them though, the Spammers might come knocking on our door for Nketiah and Johnson.

AWB aged 28 has 6 years left on his contract at £90k a week.
No way is he going anywhere for £40m…..
