Conference league final tickets

It’s crazy and disgusting overpricing by eufa who think they can act like touts , The demand simply isn’t there and there will be thousands of empty seats , unless eufa give them away to locals at the death to avoid the embarrassment of a half empty stadium .
Palace will take 14k that leaves 33k for a Spanish club that play in a stadium that holds 14k and know one has heard of .
I feel ripped off paying €190 and only did that because the €140 said it was a restricted view!!
I’m glad I held my nerve for the stages, but I feel bad for all the people who paid €490 and then bought through the club. I can’t see how those will be re sold. There are tickets on re sale sites for £325!!

Accomodation and travel is ludicrous! I had used an interrail pass until now with minimal problems getting seats reserved in time. Been forced to do an overnight in Belgium and travel from there on the day. One night in Leipzig before train back. With the 150€ ticket prices too quite an expensive day out. Couldn't miss it though!

I wouldn’t feel bad as the ones that did probably manged to secure hotels and travel significantly cheaper as was much earlier they went on sale either via lottery or direct sale. It’s balanced itself out in my case compared to friends who bought from club but got stung with hotels and flights ..

I think it’s horses for courses and we get an amazing view vs poss a lesser atmosphere but sure it wil be loud. I’m not going to bother going through the club as risk of not reselling so living with my decision … and sticking to it or risk it becoming more expensive.

The €490 seats are on resale sites currently £660.

Flying into Prague- reasonably priced accommodation and train to Leipzig, again not too pricey.

We’re driving to Leipzig from Prague, I’m told we’ll be able to pay to cross the border when we pick up the car but slightly anxious about it.

There is also the issue with the ulez type sticker but I read that Leipzig stopped enforcing that in April?

So complicated

I found the information a bit sketchy regarding the sticker so emailed the hotel .. they confirmed that it does have to be displayed .. even in the underground car park .. !

Maybe worth just getting as it really isn’t expensive . I got mine sent to me as allows on line and my own vehicle. Not sure about rentals.. have you spoken to the rental company ?

I’d imagine it’s not uncommon and the stickers are available from TUV shops on demand. but I had to prove my vehicle complied by uploading my v5 ( log book ) so not sure how that works with a rental. Maybe a few more emails needed to avoid a fine .?

Actually just checked . The hotel that replied was the one in cologne ( stopover ) . Maybe Leipzig are more ‘chilled ‘.

I’m happy to email the hotel in Leipzig to get there views as they have been great so far when I contact them if you want. Local knowledge is the best I guess

Hi guys, I've messed up with the hotel for one night ( 27th x 2 people) and booked a place miles away by mistake.

Any help appreciated for a hotel suggestion close to centre.

Just checked the website of the city of Leipzig. You still need the Umweltplakette for being allowed to bring the car in the Umweltzone (environmental zone). They will dissmiss the need for it in 2027 or 28, but not yet. If fined, it would be around 100 EUR.

Checks can be done during a regular traffic control or when the car is parked in a public space. I do not think that checks can be done when the car is parked in the hotel garage. Only when parked outside.

Risk of regular traffic control is close to zero in my opinion. Had three in 35 years driving in Germany.

Thank you Jane. Yes my understanding also and as said was so cheap possibly not worth the risk.

I agree no idea how they would check an underground car park but hotel were clear I had to display
