Will we get ethical safe reliable Refereeing from UEFA ?

The Greek referee we had at Selhurst against Fredrikstad was excellent by Premier League standards. However, after numerous renditions of “f*** Uefa” by the Holmesdale Choir we seem to get a selection of the worst referees Uefa can find. Their brief is to make things as difficult as possible for the team to progress without making it obvious given the TV coverage.

The referees seem to target Canvot and forget about the Ifab Rules and Laws but he seems to keep his teenage excitement and optimism. No doubt Darren England will try to catch him out again on Monday to enhance his Uefa credentials!

I'm just amazed we were 'allowed' to win the FA Cup against 'giants ' Manchester City last year and actually got a decision in our favour.
Mind you even then we also had a dodgy penalty given against us and a disallowed goal which wasn't conclusive.

I'm convinced VAR frequently favours bigger clubs when decisions aren't obvious and require subjective decision making.
Celtic has been the recipient of 3 decisions in the last 2 games which have been the difference between them and Hearts winning the title.
It's atrocious.

With regard to our final the week after next I'm sure there are a few in UEFA who would happy to see us lose for having the audacity to call their decision making into question last year.
After all if we were to win they would have to suffer the indignity of having us in European competition for a further year.

Sarr was offside before the ball hit him in lead up to munoz’s goal. VAR proved it at the time.

Hearts had chances to get farther ahead in the last few games. Yes Celtic got some favourable var decisions but hearts only needed a draw today and didn’t do it. It’s like saying var and arse relegated West Ham but a week earlier they lost 3-0 to Brentford. Seasons are a multiple of games, not the one that decides the outcome. Cup games can have single var decision outcomes granted.
