I fear the usual Sunday, post-Europe hangover. I predict a loss but hope to be proved wrong.

I was surprised that both Kamada and Wharton were kept on so long last night. That does not bode well for Sunday IMO as I expect Strand Larsen and Johnson will start with Lerma and Hughes in midfield - in other words not much creativity or service for our striker. With a record of 1 league win in 23 attempts against Everton, I c an't see anything other than a defeat, sadly.

By my reckoning we’ve got 13 points from the 14 PL games played on the weekend immediately following a European tie. And 30 from the other 20.

So I’ll go for 1-1 on Sunday.

I have a feeling that instead of the 'after the lord mayors show' performances that Palace often put in after a big game this time (because of the magnitude of reaching a European final) we play with a bit of a swagger. A team with a bit of deserved arrogance and put Everton to the sword.

Everton are big and physical and a big danger at set plays so I see them scoring a couple .But that wont be enough as we will score three
