2 points to stay up

West Ham would have to win their last 3 games (including Arsenal) without us getting a point. It is possible I guess, but in that highly unlikely event, we should be able to get at least a point out of the Brentford and Everton games.

We have a terrible record against Everton and with the squad rotation on Sunday I can’t see us getting anything. So that leaves us relying on getting something from Brentford who are on a charge for Europe ….danger signs are flashing.

I can’t see us getting another point. The Everton game will come after Thursday’s semi final so Glasner will wave the white flag again and we will give that one up. Brentford are a better side than us and will go into tha game as favourites. We ain’t getting anything from Man City or Arsenal. We are going to be relying on other results. Pathetic really but there you are that’s what happens when you have a manager who effectively downs tools mid season and you leave so many possible points on the table

If Arse beat Spam next Sunday , even if they win last 2 games they end up on 42 points

It just has all the makings on paper of a classic Arsenal bottle job though doesn’t it. You can just see them losing it 2-1. In many ways I’d be more surprised if Arsenal won than vice versa
 
the magic number is 3 - west ham
4- tottenham
so if west lose against arsenal we are safe regardless
was hoping tottenham would not get 3 points today coz of there game away at chelsea

i’m not bed wetting here but i am concerned if west ham grab a draw against arsenal we lose to everton ,
it’s really on , because city could thump us away , arsenal could aswell and we never win at brentford could go down on goal difference
have to be arsenal fans next week
 
After Thursday, there are no more European games before the season ends, win or lose. After Thursday we'll turn our attention back to the league and with us being at home Thursday and Sunday, I fully expect us to not be as knackered and lackluster as we were today
 
Starting to look possible. Think we were a little arrogant today, throwing the game, especially 2 goals up with a home game to play.
Mind you that awful penalty decision not being overturned makes me think VAR is just there to rule out goals that may be marginally offside.

At this stage all Glasner cares about is another trophy for his CV. He will do whatever he can to secure that including resting our best players in the league. For his career winning a trophy counts more than league places and probably more than relegation counts as a negative

i agree with this massively,
i don’t understand this season , i really don’t , started so well ,
had a bad patch glasner threw his toys out spent ridiculous money probably to suffice him ,
last season and season before i “knew” we had a chance against anyone we played ,
now this season , i knew we were getting spanked today ,
i just as you said he’s doing it for his cv so are a lot of the players ,
tbh we stay up yea? say we do win the conference , europa next season , can we do both league and that
i just don’t know , im not happy today my apologies

sang our hearts out all game long , im not as fortunate to be able to afford many games but you lot are there , singing just incredible ,
when i was watching that today you lot singing 3-0 down , pride was there ,
but then glasner interviewed and i thought you don’t deserve our passion ? our performances improved after we all got ump if you get me
but as i said my apologies very annoyed today

I understand the season completely.
Yes a good start ,then the euro games , domestic cup games , injuries, the ridiculously congested run up to Xmas .Not surprised we went on a bad run .
We don't have the squad .
 
West Ham have a shyte Goal Difference. That works to our advantage.

But i now believe that Nottm Forest will finish above us......their Form is very good.

If we lose the four remaining games, we deserve the drop. But its very rare to drop on 43 points.
