I’ve got an autograph book with most of the team of the 80’s era in it, I say most because I didn’t like Terry Fenwick and Billy Gilbert told us to fcuk off!!

I’ve never really thought if it’s worth anything, I expect I can scrape the ketchup stains off it

I have a page of Palace notepaper with the signatures of Johnny Byrne, Roy Summersby, Len Choules, Alfie Noakes, Terry Long etc etc. it was obtained for me by Roy Lewis who was also a player and was known by a mutual friend. Terry Long became a neighbour of mine some years later. I doubt it’s worth anything but it’s full of memories.

This is probably the most valuable one discussed here. I don't think any of them are that valuable, however.

It's priceless mate. The memories you have collecting autographs for the team you love cannot be bought.

My Mum was a waitress at Kennards in the 60s and during an evening celebration dinner one night she came home with an autograph of the bandleader Victor Silvester which she proudly gave to me. Obviously thought she was doing me a favour, but it left me cold.

I've still got it somewhere, so what do you reckon? Should I cash it in?

Depends what it's written on but an autograph alone on a note or piece of paper is going to be maybe a tenner or slightly more. Some kind of set with a photo or a record or a programme might be worth up to £100 if you're lucky. But more realistically 30-40 even for that.

Keep family history and pass it down.
