Eagle Football Group / Textor in Administration

So much for the French Football authorities giving OL a clean bill of health, reinstating the points deducted and thereby allowing them back into The Europa League at our expense. I don’t know where Textor is going to hide now but it won’t be in Brazil!.

Meanwhile egg on the faces of UEFA, Fifa, Marinakis and all the others who stitched Palace up.

have read the everton fans article, all seems to be smoke and mirrors & very special accountancy tricks going on, bit like with the credit crunch, confused the hell out of most people.

Hope they're ostrich eggs fired with great force from a very short distance.

LOL I was in South Africa recently went to an ostrich farm. You can actually stand on an egg without breaking it. So yeah I agree.
Then introduce the ostriches whose eggs have just been destroyed. An ostrich nearly killed Johnny Cash and he didn't even care about football.

These people have no morals or shame. There are firewalls in all dubious transactions to limit liability. Anything dubious will be an 'anomaly' that is in isolation and has no further impacts. Nothing to see here, keep walking.

And now we have an FA cup final between the 2 biggest cheats in the game. I wont be watching.

Agree with the sentiments regarding the FA Cup Final. I love the cup but here in the final are the two teams who've allegedly cheated and/or pushed the roles to a point where it's a joke. For example Chelsea selling their women's team and their hotel to BlueCo at vastly inflated prices.

As for the 115 charges they just need to get on with it. It's a bloody joke. Reminds me of something Parish said in the aftermath of being demoted to the conference league where he said that Palace were just the right size club to punish. Same applies to the Premier League and Football League. Everton, WBA and Leicester - can't wait to take points off them for a small number of breaches. Chelsea get a slap on the wrist with a fine and Man City just perpetually in the long grass.

Rant over.

Luckily for us, all of Estoril, Brøndby, and Augsburg are out of reach of 26-27 Europa League qualification.

Parish has managed to navigate a very tricky power struggle with Textor and I can recall many were critical of a perceived lack of ambition from him when Textor went public with his criticism of Parish.

Out goes Textor and in comes Johnson and a big bullet seems to have been dodged. I know for some on here Parish can’t do anything right- but I have to say I am really pleased he is at the helm - for sure, he’s made some mistakes but on the whole has done a better job for our Club than any other chairman in our history.

We’re lucky to have him in my book.

Good point.

I remember Texor moaning about Parish's lack of ambition. Hasn't aged well.
