well the security in the hotel over the weekend was limited - the gunman just booked a room and walked in with a bag full of guns, and the Sky reporter said on the evening to get access he just waved his invitation.

There was proper security at the ballroom entrance and this appears to be where the gunman was stopped, so he never actually got into the room, and the only gunfire was during his detainment with security. So the threat to Trump etc was minimal.

Then the first thing Trump says (who clearly fell over when he was being slowly escorted away) afterwards is that it shows why he needs his ballroom at the white House. The one that is currently being blocked.

Coincidence? Who knows
 
The conspiracy theory unfolding over this attempted assassination is wild, WILD.

Basically starts with an X account created in 2023 with just one post - the assassins name & a heavily blurred photo of the trump fight image from the last time he was shot at, the thing is that happened in 2024, someone checked the account with the way back machine and the post checks out to 2023.
I dont believe any of it but it's a fun story all the same.

Perhaps the UK's top politicians might fancy a jaunt to the US of A on a fact-finding expedition about political assassination attempts. You never know. Someone might get lucky. 🙂

In a post on X on Monday, Melania Trump said "people like Kimmel shouldn't have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate", and urged ABC to "take a stand".

Ha ha!. Well stop watching TV or get a divorce, then.

Well, I'm not a 'left wing zealot' but I deplore killing people just because they have different politics.

Would that include you condemning the murder of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei by the US/Israel?

Like all of the other ‘attempts’ on Trump, we will never find out the truth. Truth is stranger than fiction.

highly unlikely. Modern Socialists remind me more and more of 1930s Germany.

AntiSemitism, anti democracy, anti free speech, eugenics, turning a blind eye to Rape gangs, robbing private-property and giving it to their buddies....the whole shebang.
