Why isn't identifying as a victim sufficient? It is in other circumstances.

It’s different from subjective or identity-based victimhood, in which someone frames their own shortcomings in scenarios which blame others. Whilst different it is still a valid concern as people can feel trapped by helplessness.

You could fill books. In fact many books are effectively written about victimhood. It’s so really obvious that being asked to provide an example questions the motivation of the questioner.

Victimhood is simply the state of being a victim. Something we all are on occasions. Pick any one from your own experiences as an example.

The fact that some try to use the word as a pejorative doesn’t change that.

The most worrying thing is that its an info booklet for children. What else is in that booklet I wonder...

As an ex teacher you ought to know the difference between education and indoctrination!

You clearly don’t though.

Teaching encourages open minds to enquire, learn and decide.

Indoctrination closes minds and forces them to accept beliefs.

If there is any indoctrination going on it is coming from the right in its steadfast refusal to consider progressive ideas and allow them to be examined by our young people. The right is trying to force the young to accept their beliefs.

You will never be neutral on this subject and that is because you have a few in the race !
