Booked a hotel for myself and the wife.
Will wait until we get to the final before booking a flight, but probably will go to Frankfurt and train it.
Likely won't get a ticket so Fanzone for us

Fanzone sounds good to me. Take it there will be loads of fans travelling without tickets. I as a solo traveller could get on board with that 😁

Has anyone applied for the fcuk UEFA lottery for tickets?
Who will fanzone it then slum it sleeping on a railway station floor?
Just need 1 ticket for the final now, preferably in the Palace end.

I went in the UXFA lottery, and I’m also in just about every competition for tickets advertised on Facebook 😂 I remember one was by Hankook tyres.

Cancellable hotel booked, my flight would be Hong Kong to Frankfurt, two hour stopover then flight to Leipzig, Flight will be booked after ticket secured

If Mainz qualify for the final, which as third favourites looks reasonably possible, then those going via Frankfurt will likely be sharing the train or plane with them as Frankfurt is the nearest major transport hub to Mainz. This might actually enhance the experience for some as I don’t think their fans are particularly hostile or antisocial.

Just booked accommodation in Leipzig (Free to cancel up until couple days b4 the final) will sort out flights when we are on more solid ground - It feels like Frankfurt & the train to Leipzig is a pretty cost effective way to go - I don't actually expect to get ticket for the game (unless they do the season ticket + thingy again) so I will be drinking in the fan zone (or a bar in Leipzig town centre) Hope all this pre booking doesn't flipping jinx it.

I'll not have a ticket either. Fanzone, drinks and a win in a European final seems like a dream!! 🤞
