If this lot get anywhere near power, it's game over
Now the Greens have announced that they would raise overseas 'aid' to more than our defence budget and the aid would not be loans or trade related, just outright gifts to the various corrupt governments that would receive it. Anyone considering voting Green should have their head examined.

Surrey Police has said it "will not tolerate disorder" following a protest in Epsom over the rape of a woman outside a church by several men.

Riot police were deployed on Wednesday evening after people took to the streets demanding a description of the suspects.

Before the protest, police had released just two official statements since Saturday's rape, saying in the second they did not have "sufficient information" to release descriptions.

The BBC has approached Surrey Police several times for more details about the rape and those responsible.
The force said the rape happened in the early hours outside Epsom Methodist Church after the victim, a woman in her 20s, was followed after leaving Labyrinth Epsom nightclub.

It has urged people not to speculate about the identity of the suspects, saying: "This may lead to additional tensions within our local communities."

Questions were asked about whether any suspects had been identified
Dozens of police officers were deployed to the protest on Epsom High Street, with photos from the scene appearing to show people throwing objects at them.

The protesters also blocked the road, causing disruption to motorists, according to the force.

Ch Supt Mark Chapman said: "We respect the right to lawful protest and will facilitate this wherever possible where it is safe to do so.

"However, criminal offences and public disorder will not be tolerated, and we will always take robust action against anyone who commits a criminal offence."

Chapman said that Wednesday's "significant police presence" had been to "support the group's right to lawful protest and minimise disruption to the local community".

He said the protest "may have caused concern to people in the town centre", but that officers' priority had been to "ensure the safety of the wider public, as well as the safety of those involved in the protest".

Epsom Methodist Church is to hold a "community act" on Thursday, aiming to "raise our voices for women who are vulnerable and all who are victimised".

Reverend Catherine Hutton called the attack "horrifying and completely shocking", but criticised the protest as having been "pretty intimidating".

She added that her church's event would be an outlet for people to express any "feelings of compassion and outrage in a meaningful and positive way".

Meanwhile, Epsom MP Helen Maguire said the protest had been hijacked by "right-wing online activists" who wanted to "fan the flames of divisiveness".

Officers are still appealing for witnesses, particularly anyone who saw a woman in distress in the area of Ashley Road between 02:00 and 04:00 BST on Saturday.

This is costing a lot of money on idiots Speculating on who the perpetrators are ,years ago it was a well held British value to await British justice when now are ridiculed by the world for our loss of standards.

The quote by the epsom mp says it all.

"Protest was hijacked by on line right wing activists" and is faning the flames of divisiveness

First of all the Internet is how we find out about news these days. On line people are not a niche group.

I would suggest foreign men raping a woman on the steps of a church is pretty divisive.

Liberal Democrat MP.
These 'Lefties' ever eager to spout about "Right-Wing/Far-Right" protestors but never appear to use "Left-Wing" protestors when it is appropriate.

The U.K. must be a very good place to live as people risk there lives mucking about with boats ,paying thousands of quid and getting a dodgy para legal to falsify a story. Wow! 👍
Who'd have though free housing, education, healthcare and money would be a draw to poor people 😀

I can think of 2 reasons whey the police have said very little about the attackers:

1. They are foreign so the police are scared of upsetting the locals (who are anyway).
2. More concerning they don't believe the "victim's" story so there is no one to accuse.

2. is a good point

I don't think until charges are laid they can do much. Once charged then they have to immediately give names and some detail

We can't have a Southport again, "welsh schoolboy"

At this stage i would avoid speculation of any kind, I would not accuse any person, minority group or their job , or benefit status . I will say we had all this right wing finger pointing at Tulse Hill and what happened there? Sadly Sarah Everard has been forgotten.

Surrey Police (UK) has adopted policies focused on equality, diversity, and targeted campaigns against harassment, which some critics label as "woke," while others view them as necessary modern policing.

Key areas defining the force's approach include:
  • Race Equality: Surrey Police is actively implementing a local plan aligned with the National Police Race Action Plan, focusing on improving the experience of black people and striving to be an anti-racist organization.
  • Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG): The force launched "Jog On," a campaign using undercover female officers to catch men engaging in catcalling or harassment, a move described by some as a "wokescreen" and by others as vital safety work.
  • Cultural Changes: Following misconduct cases, the force has initiated mandatory training for officers regarding abuse of position, gender, and racial bias, as well as tackling a "culture of sexualised conversations" in some departments.
  • Community Policing: Surrey Police has worked with local teenagers to rebuild trust and address safety concerns in areas with low confidence in police.

The situation is what it is. The police could easily pass on more information with regards to description. This will possibly help the inquiry.

We will have protests whether the police issue descriptions or not. However by them withholding it, will only make matters worse .

We are all far right now if we Protest.

I've seen the real far right and they are as we know, very nasty people.

If the real far right gets a grip in this country, then we will have a great number of "liberal minded people to thank for it.

Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of these ideological people in power.

I don't recall any protests saying an immigrant killed Sarah Everett.

What I do remember were Protests by women's groups against men in general.

You know what to do in May and 2029.

Get rid of this scumbag government and don't forget what the previous one did.

The best way to avoid speculation is to issue a description. I don’t believe they can’t say for example ‘the suspects are white / black / Asian men’.
They obviously won’t be able to publish their nationality etc as no one has been caught.
As we all know the police can track people almost everywhere across London on CCTV.
The longer they give out no information at all the greater the suspicion they are deliberately holding information back.

There has been no investigation or research into how labelling people far right might make them become actually far right. Expect it to come out eventually. If you're labelled a far right fascist and treated as such, the likelihood becomes that you may as well really become one as you'd have little to lose by doing so.

According to the police, they didn't have "sufficient information" to release descriptions . . .

The victim must have an idea what the attackers looked like.

Even if they were all wearing balaclavas; then this information would be important for the public and potential witnesses.

So the police are talking bollox as usual

I assumed they had suspects in custody, if not, they should issue descriptions and any other identifiers, speaking a forteign language for example. Is there street CCTV in Epsom?
