Religion has no place in politics. The Pope should stick to God bothering and keep out of political and security issues. That ain't his job.

Since when has any Pope kept out of politics, they have been interfering since the job was created. 😀

Popes have no democratic legitimacy and plenty of historical baggage. If you want to be the Earth representative for one religious interpretation of an imaginary being then it's a good job if you can get it, but stay out of real world affairs.

I do though regularly watch Michael Wolff and Joanna Coles present “Inside Trump’s Head” on The Daily Beast. Which is an unscripted conversation about the events surrounding Trump and attempting to analyse why he is saying and doing things.

Wolff is a compelling witness. He has an irritating style sometimes but my opinion is that he very clearly speaks from the heart and tells the truth as he knows it. He doesn’t try to hide his relationship with Epstein in any way and was present on some occasions when Trump was too. There are things he knows. By all means question his own activities but it’s not those which are really important. It’s Trump’s and what impact they are having on his decision making.

Is this because he is speaking out against Trump? 🤔 So again just an opinion. Why was he there? Why aren’t his activities important any more than Trumps? If he was abusing under age girls , that’s ok as long as it wasn’t Trump? 😳

Do you ever watch or read him? If you do you will know he doesn’t just “speak out against Trump”! He is always fair and objective and will criticise some of the criticism. He writes books about public figures. He circulates among the politicians who talk to him. Epstein had connections and apparently liked to gossip, so became a source. Wolff cultivated a friendship by offering investment advice.

There is no suggestion he abused anyone, was present during abuse or aware of it at the time. Nor, it seems, was Trump. So why does Trump’s involvement matter more? Simply because he is the POTUS and has lied about it. Wolff isn’t. He is an investigative journalist, who was doing his job and told the truth..

There are over a billion Roman Catholics around the world and a lot of American non catholic Christians don’t like what he has been saying either.

There are over a billion Roman Catholics around the world and a lot of American non catholic Christians don’t like what he has been saying either.

The Pope is of no importance to most of the World. About 17% of the global population is Catholic and that is mainly due to their lack of birth control.

You have been outspoken on your dislike of religion so this is about Trump as usual. Your hypocrisy is never too far below the surface.

The Pope is a leftist. He has been a critic of Trump for years. The fact that he is a religious leader does not shield him from criticism. If you can't stand the heat then keep out of the kitchen.

The Pope is just another puppet. Any sensible Catholic will respect his title, ignore his bullshit and say a couple of Hail Marys.
