US Politics

It would be an easier kidnapping than Maduro especially as he is an american citizen. Vacancy at Vatican I can see the tabloid headlines already.😉
He's probably developing weapons of mass destruction.

That's not how I remember you posting about it at the time.

Though it does sound plausible, so I won't pass judgement as to whether I believe it or not.

However, the core of what I said remains true.

You heard about this at least a decade before it came out and that you defended the Police response on here and made excuses for them that no report agreed were valid and didn't offer......Yet you put it up on here time and time again.
As this has nothing to do with the US and has been covered here many times this will be my last response.

Yes I have defended the police and will continue to do so. I don’t know how many policemen you actually know but, whilst I don’t currently know any serving officers, I know several who have retired. One of whom was present during Hungerford and is a fellow Palace supporter. All are just ordinary people. No different to others. They just did, after training, a different job. They tell me how they had no option other than to prioritise. There just aren’t boundless resources sufficient to meet unlimited expectations. Whatever they prioritise inevitably leads to criticism as what one group believes important is not what another does. Governments change their instructions to suit the moment.

As this issue has now become politically important the police have been instructed to devote more resources to it.

We get the policing we choose to get. So I defend them because the real responsibility lies with us

I'll allow those who's principles would have never let this happen under their noses be the judge as to where responsibility lies.....thanks.

There need to be consequences for what happened and what continues to happen, at all levels, not excuses..... we still await justice.

I said I wouldn’t respond but that slur cannot be left unanswered. It wasn’t “under my nose”. It was hearsay and distant.

I did whatever any responsible citizen should do. I reported a concern to the police. I had no evidence, nothing to add and no ability to do more. The last thing we need are vigilantes assuming direct responsibility, rabble rousing or interfering with police work. How this was handled by the police is unknown to me. I did my duty. If everyone did theirs then things would have been better. Some though saw this as a political and monetary opportunity.

Not according to the report.

Fecking hell, if you are like this in person you'd qualify as the most self obsessed person ever.

I am happy to call you out for you behaviour and opinions on this topic. Frankly I think you are a disgrace and plenty who read those posts agree with me.

However, what you refer to was written about those responsible for institutional responses, high to low.

You it seems, can only think in terms of yourself.

I am very pleased that you don’t know me in person. In fact it would be extremely unlikely that you ever would, even if we were close neighbours. I choose my friends carefully.

Those who do know me would laugh at your assertions. I could give many examples of how I help others, but I won’t. You would only try to find a way to misrepresent them. That’s your way.

You often tell us how popular you are...

A sane person doesn't go around saying how popular they are, they let others speak on that.

The fact that you often feel the need to claim popularity just seems like more evidence that you're a dishonest troll weirdo.

Like you needed more.

I’m not happy about Trump slagging off our Pope. While I’m not surprised as he’s a Protestant but he should tread carefully as his wife is a good catholic girl and she wouldn’t want to be turned away on judgment day because of her husband’s disrespect to the holy leader.
He should also be lucky that us catholics aren’t Muslim or he would have had a contract issued for his head on a plate.

Just forgive him.

Apparently that's modern Christianity.

Turn the other cheek......Sermon on the Mount.

It ignores a lot of other stuff but that's apparently how you lot get through those gates.

The woke pope is not above criticism.

No I don’t!

I sometimes feel obligated to defend myself against the kind of assertions and insults that you use regularly, as evidenced in the response above. Which makes no attempt at all at anything more than pure ad hominem.

You don’t do this solely to me! Anyone who challenges your view gets personal responses. You are more like Trump than you seem to realise. Neither of you can handle criticism and like to be surrounded by yes men. So who is really weird?

One half of it said.

Would.

Probably the only shaggable first lady since Jackie.

Still can't speak the language properly.

Too much time gagging, too little time speaking.
That’s seriously weird!

Who cares whether you, or anyone else, “fancies” her. She is the first First Lady of the USA to have sued journalists. That matters. Especially to free speech advocates.

Melania trying to pre-empt some information that is about to be released about Epstein. I thought they were burning all that stuff ? 😀
Any information showing links to Epstein, surely can't overshadow Trumps actions to:

Threatening to Invade Greenland
Blockading Cuba from oil and supplies
Declaring war on Iran - threatening genocide
threats to leave NATO
Fantastic diplomacy with: The Pope , Denmark, Zelensky, The Japanese PM
Supplying arms for Israel to wipe out the Palestinians, and now Lebanon

You'll get over it.
