I think it will be:

Difficult game to predict, especially as Thursday night matches don’t help any team when they then play two or three days later. Seeing upcoming games for those just below us, if they pick up points and we don’t it could cause concerns? I will be happy with a 1:1 tomorrow. May not be as easy as some think?

we lose and it hurts Brighton's European dreams.

Just don't pick up any injuries and we will all be happy.

I‘m a natural worrier especially when it has anything to do with Palace and have been shot down a few times regarding our league position. Fact is, Hammers are 3 points closer and I will be in Stress Modus until we gain 6 minutes re points. Newcastle hold the upper hand over us in recent seasons
 
I think there will be changes.
Larsen for Mateta and it wouldn't surprise me if Hughes and/or Lerma play in midfield with Pino playing instead of Guessand .
I also expect Johnson and possibly Riad to be given minutes.
We have 3 games in 8 days so it will be a surprise if there's not some rotation.
 
Align with the apprehension from some. Until we’re factually safe, I shall continue to worry.

Beating Newcastle would allow me to focus attention on Europe and my PL energy towards baying for North London to bottle a title and get relegated however.

I’ll take a draw now, but I’m hoping we have a late season surge in us after a dreadful winter, demonstrated with a win over the geordies

Thinking back to our fa cup run we had a few re arranged games before the fixtures. I think we had arsenal 2 days before the villa semi final? Glasner likes to play full strength every game 😅

Yep Larsen and Pino seem likely. Unless Johnson has a revelation, I hope he only gets a few miutes. Otherwise Hall will have a field day down the left.
Newcastle are in a pretty bad shape with the home loss to Sunderland following Barcelona hitting them for 7, talk of Tonali leaving and Howe's position under question (he may end up with us next year)
They are only team not to have been in the top 5 or bottom 3 at any stage this season. Beat them and we can dream of the Conference again next season🙄
 
I think Glasner will rest a few which is fine, but I don't think we are totally safe yet. Another 3 points should do it.
A heated battle at the bottom usually means more points needed for survival. It could go more than 40.

I think it's more about protecting players who are carrying injuries. Mateta for sure. One or two others, maybe.
