Nketiah

Any news?

I may have missed an update but can’t see anything on the club website.

Physio Room suggests he may be back after the International break, with a return date indicated as 11/04?
 
so with Arsenal, we have basically swapped Eze for Nketiah......... with a time-lapse of course.

A modest difference of money for a heck of a drop in performances. Seems like a bum deal. We should force Eze to come back to us. I don't care if he cries for a fortnight.

Apparently the latest news from yesterday is that he’s suffered another set back, he was nearing a return but suffered another hamstring injury in a training session yesterday (Wednesday) and will now be out for another unknown period of time 🥴

A shame for everyone. Would have been a useful option at least for the rest of the season. I'm sure he'll also be distraught. Glasner said it was two minutes before the end of the session!

With every injury that goes by any resale value he has plummets further. Makes me shudder when I think we could potentially pay over 100m for Nketiah, Johnson and Guessand - all have major questions marks over them!

Look on the bright side Glasner might to choose to take some of them with him. 😉

It may now be phycological as well. He came on a big transfer fee and is paid £90k a week and maybe he didn't understand that fans have expectations with those sums.
He was a bench warmer at Arsenal and as we know they were trying to offload him for ages. These repeated injuries is exactly what happened with Franca (and i still think that deal was fraudulent).
Ntekiah might simply be scared to play and these injuries are the result . Mind you, on £90k a week until 2029 I doubt he is too bothered.
 
We should take a leaf of of AC milans book for medicals for new signings.

Surely the fee for nketiah would include appearances 😬😬😬

Our midfield (including Adam and Will) need look in the mirror and ask where are their goal contributions?

I know it's a hot potato topic but I will always feel playing Kamada is like starting with 10 men. Absolute lightweight and lucky to win an FA cup medal. And before anyone says Im 15 years old, Im not ... Im over 60 and was there at the Burnley game in '79 straight after school at 5pm waiting ...

one of the weakest palace players Ive ever seen.

Id love to see Dougie come back - now that would be an amazing signing !!

Kamada was yet again one of our standout players last night. He was also a pivotal performer in our FA Cup run last season. We generally perform better with him in the team and that can’t be just coincidence.
