David De Gea arrived at Man Utd with an eye problem. He wore glasses and whilst playing wore contact lenses. It was speculated that this was the reason he conceded a few goals from distance.
He was a player who displayed an excellent temperament at Man Utd and made a number of saves with his feet. He excelled in 1 v 1 situations.

Technically, we are still not safe as the teams below us have 21pts to play for and our recent form in the league is of concern. Therefore going forward we still have work to do in order to be mathematically safe and until that goal is reached we must not be complacent.

people please stop this low block crap no different than us playing 3 at the back , 1 goal blows there game plan apart they need to come out if we score low block is a very very dangerous game and its called defending deep , we have players to get past that I reckon 2-0 and 1-0 over there

Yes. Still quality but not quite at the level of last season. Still managed 9 clean sheets, made some huge saves and a few man of match awards this season, including at the weekend.

Just a realist, by all means shoot the messenger if it makes you feel better, the facts speak for themselves and looking at our run in we will be lucky to get any points the way we have been playing. You have to be able to score goals to win football matches and that is something we struggle to do!. Just for the record I said their were 21 pts to play for and until we are in position when we cannot be caught with a points total that is greater than the team in 18th place is not able to reach our total then we are still technically in a relegation battle and that is indisputable, however unlikely you may feel that is!

We are certainly not 'Home and hosed' and there could well be bouts of anxiety as the season unfolds.
I for one am not 'Counting chickens'.

There is no way West Ham, spurs Forest AND Leeds are going to get above 39 points and although we’re poor at the moment we’re not going to lose all our last games and still be on 39 points anyway

And if anyone quotes the word ‘Oldham’ at me I’ll be very annoyed and probably swear a bit 😅😃

I fear this will be a hard watch with only one goal in it. I'm very much hoping its Palace that get the goal but it could go either way.
