The only genuinely positive media for campaigns fought by this country in my lifetime are Kosovo, the first Iraq war and the Falklands. If you can think of any more..?

For campaigns fought by the US without us, I can't think of one.

Iran attracts particular negativity because it is Israel's war. It serves no other nation's interest. It has no recogniseable strategy save destroy; no single achievable objective; no effective exit strategy; and it has ravaged economies of allied nations who were neither engaged or consulted and who are now being called upon to clean it up.

Trump and Starmer are rating low for different reasons. The former because mid term presidents almost always do badly in polls. Starmer because he is a total toss pot and people only voted Labour to get rid of the Tories.
