Blair was always brilliant at telling the public what they want to hear. And then himself going off and doing the very opposite.

Numerically, the islamic vote is not going away. Not ever. Labour know the Imam's hold the keys to Power. Its become a zero sum game. Submit to their political will or stay on the opposition benches, forever.

Unlike Conservatives.....Left wing politics is fond of providing generous benefits/welfare and all that. Especially for people who unfortunately find themselves 'between jobs'. And needing of a help up.
