As that would have deviated from 3-4-2-1.

I reckon OG couldn’t stop at a threesome. He’d immediately try to turn it into a foursome, then somehow end up back with his wife, and finally finish the evening solo wondering where the tactics went wrong.

If Parish doesn't have next season's manager waiting on a shelf somewhere, I don't see why he'd install someone for the final 8 matches.

Any decent manager would have changed tactics when they were down to 10 but no, he has no idea and I begin to think he just doesn't care. I can't remember when we last beat ten men. I accept we lack ball skills but there is no sensible movement when Wharton has the ball.

On a windy day you try to keep the ball on the ground but nobody has the ball control to trap and pass.

I think we all agree - get to the end of season, new manager, rebuild the squad and let’s see what happens!

Who knows, perhaps some European success is still possible?
 
Just about the worst game of football in EPL this season, we are terrible, clueless, defence looks shaky, can't pass the ball, far too slow going forward, poor crossing, not one shot on target against 10 men. Thank goodness we have 39points in the bank, otherwise we would be dead certs for the drop.
 
Well that was a waste of a couple of hours .Just glad I didn't waste the whole day travelling to see that shite .And it was shite ,there is no getting away from it ,just shite .

We are a team with constipation , we need to get forward and think of getting forward but nothing happens .Its just painful ,frustration and wishful thinking .........shite
 
Awful game of football. Even with Leeds and the ref helping us we never looked like scoring. I can’t tell you what the pattern of play is or how we are trying to score. If it’s through the middle the get an extra man in midfield or up front. If it’s by getting it in from wide then play the channel ball earlier. We look like a team where there aren’t any attacking tactics. Mitchell was decent. Thats about it. Inching towards safety but still haven’t really played well now for months.
 
As bad as the worse of Roy Hodgson. Yes, really that bad. Curiously we have been worse in the second half in nearly all recent games, it's as if the players go through the motions, not particularly bothered this way or that. It can be seen in the European games too, so I'm not expecting any resurgence from that direction. It's flat, stale, emanating from a board making wrong decisions and a manager who really should have been shown the door 3 months ago.
The next manager has his work cut out, someone in the Pulis mould I would have thought, as any chance of playing total football with this sorry bunch is a non starter.
