When did our duty of care for the mentally ill get eradicated by the human right to do whatever the f**k we want?
By which I mean, where is the line now? Because I do respect that people should be able to express themselves if they aren't hurting others, but when do we step in out of concern they might be hurting themselves? Are we to be so frightened of a backlash from militant progressives that we have to let people endanger themselves? Are these competitive progressives therefore incredibly dangerous?

I can't believe this insanity is still ongoing, initially I thought this was just a fad that would phase out but seems the ones pushing gender ideology aren't done yet.
Surely the meeting point on this blown out of proportion non-issue is for trans activists to accept that sex is biology and cannot be changed. Aka fact and reality.
But then those on the sensible side of the fence to concede that gender is indeed fluid and moves on a sliding scale, albeit linked to the roles and characterstics of sex.
Then what you would be left with is the acceptance that trans women are actually just feminine men (biology) who identity with the roles, characteristics and traits mostly associated with women (gender).
Which is pretty much where we were before this all became an issue in the last 10 years or so. Everyone could then move on and concentrate on actual societal issues that need addressing.

I genuinely think the whole issue of gender ideology and pushing the trans agenda onto us was a test by the establishment to see just how gullible and open to manipulation and susceptible to propaganda the public are.
After all, if they can change public opinion to such an extent that we need legal rulings and scientific papers to confirm the existence of biological sex, just what else can they get away with pushing onto us....
