Ian Huntley Dead

Isnt it curious how the fella in the link below is akin to a thousand Ian Huntleys ? yet he gets a medal and an honourable ceremony over his coffin. I suppose we seem to separate sex-crimes from murderous crimes ?

You would wonder if the Huntleys of this World are used as a Goldstein in an Orwellian 1984 sense ? They are Patsies used to distract our vitriol from the real monsters hiding in plain sight....Jimmy Savile & his high ranking buddies, Pakistani Rape Gangs, Epstein island and the toffs who raped all the boys from the Kincora Orphanage.

Yes, Huntley was a monster.......but statistically tiny.

Have to say, that is a pretty daft comparison.

The context is extremely different.

The power positions of what someone is able to do also factor in.

People have different opinions on what Truman did.....I happen to think it was inhuman and wildly excessive, but I can understand those who disagree with me.

I don't think you will find anyone who can defend what Huntley did.

I seem to be the odd one out here as although I agree that Huntley is an evil man I'm not sure that I like the idea of justice being meted out by rapists and murderers in prison rather than by our legal system. Perhaps rather than being feted by the scum of the earth the man who will no doubt be responsible for Huntley's death should be tried for murder and spend the rest of his life in solitary
I do agree with the sentiments of what you say. However, Huntley was inclined to upset other inmates. I seem to recall a few years ago, Huntley got hold of a Man Utd shirt, and took some relish in wearing the shirt and flaunting himself in front of other inmates.
If you are in a cage with some angry psychopathic bears, best not to prod them, as eventually you are going to get a response

Huntley had a lot of previous form, prior to murdering those innocent girls. Many people, whose job it is to protect the vulnerable, failed. School principals, and many other people in uniforms.

And Huntley was not the only Rapist that slipped through the net. Like Jimmy Savile and the Pakistani Rape Gangs........somebody on the government payroll needs to take accountability for these failures.

To me it prompts the question why keep these dangerously sick murderers alive?
I can see no reason for tax payers to fund the continuing existence of Axel Rudakubana.
He'll never become anything other than a psychopath.
100% agree, many many terrible acts can be proven beyond doubt and capital punishment carried out without any chance of a mistake, provided the right conditions in place. i.e no confession only capital convictions

it costs millions to incarcerate these monsters for life. The equivalent money could save a ton of lives on the NHS. The lives of good people.....taxpayers and the like.

A Demon killed a Demon. Nothing actually that much to celebrate. Issue is why the state did not rid us of BOTH a long time ago? And doing so in a humane fashion that neither deserved but which a civilised society should still have a duty to provide.

I want a State that executes BOTH of these scumbags. But if we have a State that decides to incarcerate instead, then it should actually be able to protect them. Huntley should have not been murdered in this fashion.

Whatever way you look at this, it is another example of State failure. Nobody is going to mourn Huntleys passing but this should not have happened. Just another example of how our system is failing us all.

I'm glad he had a tortuous final couple of decades and painful death. As his daughter says, "flush his ashes down the toilet"

Number Ten Rillington Place holds the answer Timothy Evans is the name, never can there be such a very sad miscarriage of justice. John Reginald Christie (landlord) a very cunning murderer blamed the simpleton Evans (lodger) over the murder of Evan's wife ,Timothy Evans was found guilty and was hung. Sometime later neighbour's complained about very strong smells from the address, police searched and found several buried human bones, Christie had killed several women who sought an abortion from Christie who simply gassed them strangled them then interfered with them killed them and hid their remains in his back garden. Christie was then found guilty and hung.
