How much did you? I have said what I think of their regime on something I just posted in response to you!

Of course, it's a war ship. The clue is in the name. However, the question was: what risk did it present?

There may be a good strategic reason for sinking it. But this was not expressed by the US military. And if they had one, would it not have been expressed?

They aren’t. Indeed it defines centralism to value parts of both right and left thinking. I am a fiscal conservative but socially liberal. I believe in a balanced budget and that everyone, other than those studying or incapable of work, should contribute to society in some way. I also believe that those incapable ought to be helped to live their lives at the same level as the rest of us.

It's an odd question. Iran have been firing missiles at just about everyone in the region. This ship was near Sri Lanka according to reports. Would you wait until they launched a missile on Colombo or India or where ever? I'm glad you aren't in charge.

Nice deflection. If you assembled a list of his policies and objectives, I dare say I might tick quite a few of them. My politics is pragmatic, not tribal.

Both those countries have capable militaries who can defend themselves.

Did India or Sri Lanka ask for help?

I think injecting disinfectant in large enough doses would definitely end any worries about Covid. 😉

You are interpreting the situation in a way that reflects your general views.
I am waiting to see the outcome of all this before I evaluate the pros and cons.

Right now, I'm in favour of taking out a regime responsible for global terrorism. How that pans out in the longer term remains to be seen. How doing nothing would have resulted, we will never know.

As far as I'm aware, they haven't entered the war. This is a US/Israeli operation.

Trump was not elected to start new wars on behalf of his fecking donors. This war does nothing but problems for America and us. Israel should deal with its own problems.

DOGE was a good idea......but was dismantled by Trump's actions himself, just increasing spending....spend, spend, spend.

I want him to stand down......He's lied to his base.

If you allow politicians to lie to their base and then reward them, that's not a democracy worth keeping......These politicans need to go, whether it's Starmer, Trump or any other lying feck.

Iran has several types of ballistic missile that could carry a nuke warhead already. They don't have ICBMs though.

That happen here too, with some posters openly calling for bans in the past.

That some don’t consider their comments racist doesn’t mean they aren’t. It’s an unfortunate trait of some on the right to be in denial of their racism. That’s ignored here but won’t be elsewhere.
