Gorton & Denton By-election

The scrutineers have reported high levels of family voting which is of course, illegal. This happens when there is a significant muslim vote, refer to Tower Hamlets. This will only get worse as years go on, the Left will say that stopping illegal voting is racist / Islamaphobic etc.

No surprise
What you can't vote if you have a family? Well that's a bit of a downer, if we just get a load of singletons voting then where will we be?

Not surprisingly you are ignorant on this. This is in respect of family members entering voting booths together, that is an offence. The scrutineers are only there to record events and cannot intervene. Muslim men are directing family members how to vote in the booth, that is illegal ( regardless of religion ).

Not surprisingly you are a pompous humourless fool......I am fully aware of the concept.

When nowhere else to turn, resort to insulting language, expected from you and your ilk.

You have become aware since my post I would suggest
Not at all. While I am tempted to simply reply that my Uncle told me all about it when he came with me into the polling booth, I actually know about it having run polling stations at elections over many years.

You see my ilk having been a public servant over many decades volunteer for jobs like that. Gets us out and about you see.

aka stealing a living from the taxpayer ( unless you had a proper job like a police officer, emergency services etc rather than a jobsworth.) You usually mention this when found out as if it gives you some kind of credibility. Unless you were a Presiding Officer you ran nothing.

Poll clerk is a paid position.

Looks like the Greenlamists have won in Gorton and Denton, video circulationg of muslim woman saying her husband decides who she votes for. The illegal voting may yet be a factor depending on the size of the majority

If the Greens win it's an example of what happens when the white percentage in an area drops to such an extent that the right can't win.

It's been the left's playbook for decades and in parts of the country it's already true.

The Green Party seem to be courting the Muslim vote going by this result , It will be interesting to see if they can replicate this victory nationally at a G.E or if it just a random victory caused by the local demographics ...

Seems this constituency had perfect storm demographics for Greenlamists

I would never suggest a by election at this stage acts as a barometer for a general election, but this result might see a few more seek a change in leadership of the Labour party.

There is going to be plenty written about this result and what it means but for me the most interesting take-away from the result is that the turn-out was barely different from 2024. With all the hype and resources thrown at this (and I saw claims that on the last day the Greens had 2000 people out on the streets with Labour not far behind), they all still struggled to get people out to vote.

The strength of the old UKIP vote in terms of winning Brexit, was reaching the voter who had not bothered in a long, long time. With this a formula Reform needed to replicate here. And which they clearly failed to do.

The Greens are a flash in the pan. Literally riding on the back of the Muslim vote being pissed off with Labour for sucking on the Zionist tit. And which will ultimately prove its downfall because they simply cannot maintain that charade going forward. And even if they manage to keep the farce going, actually helps us on the Right because the Islamic branding will send more people our way.

Question for Labour now is whether they ditch Starmer now or wait until after May? Because the reality is that if Burnham had stood, they would still have this seat. As simple as that.

The Greens had social media asking for Urdu speakers in the North West to help them canvass, we need to wake up to what is going on with cultural change. This is the thin end of a nasty wedge. The victory speech specifically mentioned one religion, any Jews in that area should be very much on guard. If anyone really thinks that Muslims are happily supporting a party led by by a homosexual Jew they need to seek help.

Time to start building some barricades ...

With your experience you could run the leadership election for them
Yawn........

I probably have more experience on one world of politics than most on here having worked in that environment and directly with ministers from three different political parties over a very long time.

But hey I am sure you know better.....

I don't really care I will go to work as usual and shortly I will retire on my gold plated pension from my cushy job as that is clearly how you view anyone in public service or who does not agree with your views.

This by election (back to topic) will change little as by elections never do. The local elections will be the same. Labour will be trounced and I do wonder if we will see a few more independents.

What really matters comes a few years down the line.

Who would want to take over before the May elections? Starmer is just an even more pathetic figure if that is possible. A contested leadership election would take 5-6 weeks.

If you have been a Presiding Officer I shall apologize whole heartedly. If not, you are pushing a deluded history in the Cornish style.

Try to read, I view many in public service as performing valuable and demanding work, there are also many with heads in the trough performing " work " that is not required.

You have used the " working with ministers " line before as an attempt at self importance.

I am guessing you are a driver.

The actual logic of the Greens effectively sweeping up the Muslim votes makes a lot of sense, at least in terms of this by-election, and clearly worked for them. But as a long-term electoral strategy, then it is a complete non-starter given the, as you quite rightly allude to, inherent contradictions.

The Greens are just froth.

For me all I want to focus on is why Reform failed to get the white vote out. Because that is the key to this all. Getting that white voter, who has felt disenfranchised from the electoral system for decades, out to cast their vote.

Reform basically allows their sworn enemies, in the form of HnH, to dictate who they can have standing for elections. And why they are simply now part of the problem rather than the solution.

And lol at the Tories. Losing their deposit. Love it!
