I’ll bid 2 Buenos and raise you 3 Gomes’ …

Need a performance and result today, not quite sure where it'll come from!

Already a little worried about Wolves pace in attack tearing apart our already fragile defence.

I think there's a least clarity over the game. Don't win and changes are surely made.

Hard to drum up optimism, which is a sign of the times even though we're playing bottom of the league!

Anyhow, COYP

Playing two unproven centre backs and a completely out of form Pino rather than doing the obvious thing and playing a back four. If he’d have just written sack me with his formation it couldn’t be clearer.
We know he's incapable of change. I could have predicted our formation for this game in September. It's f***ing frustrating, however.
The devil in me wants say Canvot to just get told to play dm by Henderson and push the other two into central midfield. Play four, three, three and just f*** Glasner off. It would be hilarious. We'd still probably lose but f*** it anyway.

Say what you like about our diminutive Spanish international but apart from Wharton he is our only creative player. And thats what we need, the ability to create passes and crosses for JSR.

The dropping of Johnson makes sense.

Whether sticking to a largely unproven back three instead of a flat back four will be sufficient remains to be seen.

We are without two of our best and most aggressive competitors in the air, Lerma and Lacroix, leaving Richards probably having to mark 4 players.
Canvot and Riad have good stature but not much of a spring on them.

Avoid conceding set pieces and corners at all costs!

This is the game Piño has a blinder ,and Canvot error free .
You heard it here first 🫣
Love it. Why not? Let's hammer them.
That said I'll only see the first 25 minutes because I'm going out to get hammered myself - optimism and hope aside I haven't had a drink for a week and there's no point being a damn fool about it.

The bell end manager is speaking live on sky now… I want to punch him in the face. I cannot get over how quickly I’ve gone from being gutted he goes to wanting him to f*** off. No plan B or C… actually he doesn’t really have a plan A since Marc left.

To be honest, about as best a line-up as could be (maybe Johnson for Pino) but on past form (or lack of it!) probably makes sense.
If not tonight, the4n big trouble and big changes. I hope success tonight AND manager change also

What I’ll say is that Pino isn’t a creative player. How many times have we seen him create anything?

He did say Max should be back for Thursday though. His injury was "only a slight one" and he could have possibly played today but we didn't want to risk him.

Maybe would have Clyne for Canvot? Guessard for Pino? Matters not though, no surprise in the selection. As for tactics and structure, didn't he (OG) say they tried a different formation in training and it didn't work?? Eh?
