Wolves Predictions.

Parish seen in the Sainsburys car park with the players in attendance. Glasner conspicuous by his absence. Passers by later noted that Parish was waving his arms around animatedly and pointing in all directions, as if to communicate some archaic plan.
2-0 Palace.

This has to be the decider for OG future of Palace. Would not be surprised of a 0-3 scoreline, as the manager is so stubborn that it is beyond belief. And his comments after the games are unbelievable. With him at the helm we are more or less guaranteed relegation - and that in a season we have beaten Liverpool 3 x and won 3-0 at Villa Park. Wolves did shake Arsenal (2-2), that should be a warning. So Mr. Parish, please please let go of our Austrian legend ASAP.

Wolves looks to be a tricky game.
In defence Lacroix will apparently be out with a muscle injury and Lerma is out for 3 weeks.
We may line up with a back 3 of error prone Canvot, Richards (unsuited to the central role) and unproven Riad.
Glasner has mentioned getting 'creative ' to find solutions suggesting even using Mitchell in defence.

I don't tend to like Glasner's creative solutions e.g Sosa at RWB, Devenny at number 10. The solutions often end in tears.

Against Burnley and last night we looked totally vulnerable to counter attacks, with opposition players running unchallenged into our penalty area.
He won't do it but surely it's a game for a back 4 of Munoz, Richards, Riad and Mitchell with 3 in midfield of Hughes, Kamada and Wharton.
Stiffening up the midfield and better balanced with more protection for the back 4 and ability to compete in duels.

I'm not sure about the attack.
Neither Pino nor Johnson look to be the answer on the left and it's too early to assess Guessand.
Our passing and crossing was shocking last night with very little created for Larsen even when we dominated the ball.

At the moment I'd be content with a 1-1 draw.

Glasner will set up as usual with the wingbacks high up the pitch, Wolves will play into the space behind them, our make shift back 3 will be drawn out to cover, leaving space in the middle for them to score. It happens every game, if I can see it, I am damn sure opposition analysis can.

Good summary

Probably.

Lacroix gone a major loss.
Why oh why was Glasner playing his only good, proven centre half last night when we have a must win game at the weekend. We know this means we should play a back four on Sunday but he won’t. We will probably have a back three including Mitchell, Benitez and the kit man

Easy to say that now he’s got injured, but we were bad enough at the back WITH him last night, can you imagine a whole 90 minutes with Canvot and Riad. These two games would not have been needed if he’d gone with a strong team against Kups, so you can understand him not wanting any slip ups this time, even though we still looked poor with a strong team

I think our survival hopes rest more on West Ham not maintaining their form rather than us improving ours.

A draw at best for Sunday but expect the inevitable loss.
