We can be fairly certain that Elite footballers get training & coaching about 'honey traps'. Lessons about keeping it in your underpants and all that. So what went wrong with Andrew ?

A sense of being untouchable. Very often the rich/super rich/royally connected feel that rules don't apply to them, only to the hoi poloi.

Ultimately the Beatles considered themselves English with Irish heritage (like most of Liverpool and NI)......I don't know much about U2.

It's so mixed that a majority of British/Irish people could probably play for any of the isle countries.

Good looking as a younger chap, it's hard to give up the ladies when they use to be on tap....But not to do so shows a lack of maturity and sense.

Still, while I don't consider him a paedo, what he did wasn't worthy of his titles.

We know Andrew has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office and that he is in custody - but we are still waiting for some significant details. They are:

  • The specifics of the allegations being investigated by police
  • What information prompted Thames Valley Police to arrest the former prince
  • Where Andrew is currently being held
  • Whether he has been interviewed under caution yet

If he has any sensible advice he will get a decent criminal lawyer who represents wronguns and will do what they are all told to do - no comment.
It could make 24 hours in police custody in a few years
