Glasner Out

I dont understand why people are worrying about relegation. Its not going to happen. We need at the most 8 points from 12 games. We probably only need 4. We have been in a worst position than this at this stage in almost every season since 2013. We will limp over the line and hopefully spam or spurs will go down with burnley and wolves.
I think it might have something to do with getting 6 points from the last 10 and form actually getting worse if anything combined with some more difficult fixtures towards the end of the season and a team that appears to be falling apart. Reality is if we carry on our points per game total from the last two months it is very likely we go down

For me wolves is our biggest 'must win' game since hull at home in 2017!!
a similar result to that would be most welcome!!

Sorry but his actions since Xmas tell us the exact opposite. He even said himself he didn’t care
If he didn't care, he would leave. We can all take one comment and apply it to a narrative that works but if you look at his overall actions, he obviously does care. If at the very least because it affects his own reputation, which at the moment is all he has going for him to get his next job.

you are clearly a glass half full person - unusual for a Palace fan.

If we don't beat Wolves we are 100% in a relegation dogfight.
Factually we are 7 points off 7th and we are 8 points off relegation.

We are 13th in the league - realistically there is not 5 teams better than us with only 12/13 games to go. Brighton have completely run out of steam, Leeds aren't consistent enough, Forest are a basket case of a club and West Ham have a ridiculous run coming up.

We'll be fine.

I agree with this - as I said above, the bookies view us going down to be about as likely as Brentford making the top four - I think people can draw their own conclusions from that.

Obviously possible, but very unlikely.

Is it too much for hope for a statement performance leading to a big win? With JSL leading the line it feels possible - even when he was on form JPM wouldn't have scored that headed goal and probably not the first either.

I wondered when you would pop up, Your man, OG, doing well isn't he.

I wouldn't even call his second goal a chance, a superb header, supply him and he will score, lets try playing some wingers on the wing, radical i know, but could work.

Everyone is saying this but I don't buy that. Even the worst managers get new jobs once sacked. OG has won two trophies for Crystal Palace. He will have a list of clubs queuing around the corner for him. His message is simply 'look if you back me I am proven at being successful'.
For me he is past his sell by date and we should be concerned. We are limping to safety and he has caused total disharmony in the camp. He's only here to try and win the Conference League nothing else. Its a game of chicken between him and Parish because we can all see he's lost it. Last night was absolute proof. His tactics all wrong, bad management with the subs, and as others have said, no players are playing well.
Throw in the dreadful form since early December it's no wonder we are all at work this week with negative feelings on the current situation.

Who thinks we were lucky against Brighton? I dont. No one was calling for Glasner to go last Sunday.
We were poor last night and on our 2nd half performance we deserved to lose. It was another embarrassment to add to the Leeds and Macclesfield results and I think Glasner leaving is for the best but...
We are in no way as serious a situation as West Ham, Forest, Brighton or even Leeds and Spurs. I dont believe we'll win the Conference League now but I haven't believed that for a while now. But neither do I think there is much chance of us being relegated either.
Making a change can be a good thing but not for the sake of it. If Parish has someone lined up he thinks is perfect but the guy refuses to come until the summer what is the point in sacking Glasner? None. He knows these players and their capabilities. Bringing in an interim could seriously be the single most stupid thing Parish has ever done. Sometimes you have to be a man and hold your nerve.
If we beat Wolves next and (as expected) a couple of other results go our way everyone will relax a bit.
I think Glasner's time is almost done but many people should consider that by keeping him in post the club are equally using him as the other way around. I really dont see what changing the manager right now unless we are bringing in his long term replacement is going to achieve

Points?

What absolute rubbish. Dean Henderson has said that they are backing the manager and if there is any disharmony in the camp it's caused by Mateta and his recent behaviour.

So "He's only here to try and win the Conference League nothing else" He told you that did he or are you a mind reader?

"Last night was absolute proof that his tactics all wrong" His tactics were fine when we were 2-0 up and he can't really be blamed for the defensive lapses that cost us the game.

"bad management with the subs" yet at one stage we had five attackers on the pitch but still couldn't find the back of the net and was it really his fault that Kamada missed a really simple header

Sorry ME but I disagree all across the board here.

If the players are all 'backing the manager' it wasn't evident last night, they stopped playing at 2-0 and didn't really try too hard after 2-3. And if they are backing him then his tactics are completely useless, even against the likes of Macclesfield, Larnaca and 2-0 up at home to Burnley.

The manager is responsible for ogranising the defence, building morale, motivating his players and in-game management. If he's not to blame for repeated defensive lapses, who is? Where has that come from? Did all the players suddenly suffer from a shared illness or syndrome? Was it an unjustified revolt? Or are we suggesting all our defenders are just terrible footballers and people?

Finally, simply lumping every single attacking player you have on to the pitch, with no effect whatsoever, perfectly demonstrated terrible management and a bizarre usage of substitutions, I would suggest.
