Brighton vs. Crystal Palace match thread

Sarr was content to shoot with his less-favoured foot.
Mateta in that position would have ensured that the keeper kept out the shot or indeed fired wide of the target !!
JP wouldn't have got a shot away.

The ball to Sarr wasn't actually great, he needed to check his run and then get it out of his feet.

With our 4 no10's we've at last got some depth and variation.

I suspect that Sarr is the only one that almost is guaranteed a starting berth.

Pino may be best placed to unlock teams who sit back. Guessand as a bit more of the chaos factor. And Johnson is a natural finisher.

They will all have good and bad games, but the most important thing now is we have options. And oen of those options yesterday changed the game for us.
To the end of season we have 3 centre forwards and 6 (10s)for want of a better description. 9 players for 3 positions will admittedly give options however it will mean some annoyed players sat on the sidelines with little chance of putting themselves in the shop window. Healthy, or not, maybe?

I would reckon Sarr and Strand Larsen will start when fit. Guessand and Pino vying for the other 'ten' slot; Johnson and Nketiah likely to come off the bench; Mateta and Uche on the bench at best.

Sarr solved one of the main issues we've had in the recent poor run: not converting clear chances. As a bonus Dunk ended up forlorn on the deck. Lovely stuff.
