A very gratifying three points though to be honest we were a bit indebted to the weed being very poor especially in the second half. On the bright side, we shall get better as the team settle - there was quite a bit of muddling - and a very decent debut from Strand Larsen and an impressive one from Guessand. Johnson still looks like a costly mistake. Selection aganst Burnley won't be that easy.

The back three looked solid today. Interesting change with Lerma on the right and Richards on the left. It worked well and Lerma was immense.
Aside from Pino who clearly isn’t enjoying Premier League football the rest of the team played really well.

Think everything has been said! Having so many options on the bench was a breath of fresh air - exactly what OG has been saying! Must say, Lerma was BRILLIANT today.

My usual weekend mood has changed dramatically today! I’m even treating the family to fish & chips whilst we are in Brighton.

Amex started emptying with 10 mins still to go! Great atmosphere in the Palace end.
