I'm not putting much hope in my house being an investment. I only rented it out, because it put us in the best position to buy the house I'm in now.

But I do see it as a good thing. What you have to hope for most of all is good tennents.

I agree with you on the state pension. I think with A i coming in quickly it will be universal basic income for everyone; with private equity firms like Blackrock owning everything. Something to look forward to.

Require attendance at training centres or places of work or have benefits removed. It isn’t cost free as supervision is obviously required but some of that can be achieved electronically.

We need a completely different attitude and that will take time to instil in society but some have become lazy and comfortable with existing rather than striving.

Same here.

One of my friends at university started going out with a Muslim girl and they had to hide it from her family. When they got serious they moved and stopped contact after her uncles started threatening them.

They had two children.....but I stopped contact myself after he went a bit lefty around the BLM time.
 
I find it remarkable that people are still debating the merits of removing illegal immigrants.

This is purely tribal political nonsense. The left are so brainwashed that they would rather defend criminals than concede that the law has to be enforced regardless of who the President is.

If you interfere with the process, then you put yourself in danger. For any sane person, that should be obvious. The authorities have to ensure that they carry out their duty within the law, just like any other law enforcement would.

Would some of these leftist idiots still be defending criminals if one of their loved ones were murdered, raped or robbed by illegals? Would they defend the individual who did it?

Controlling people's personal lives isn't what is being stated is it. It's about having the most influence on what actually happens in the world.

I hear a lot of this kind of lazy stereotyping on what's actually being said.

It's about what people are told in reals of who makes and takes the decisions and what the reality is.

The people who we are told make the decisions only have a part influence. The population don't get told the truth on that. They get fed a load of baloney.

If you don't believe that I seriously doubt that you have been taking notice.

Who do you think controls lives then?

I think it remarkable that you think they are!

If all ICE were doing was continuing to do what they used to do, quietly and effectively, there wouldn’t be a debate. They aren’t though. They are trawling through neighbourhoods and detaining people solely on racial profiling. They aren’t concentrating on removing criminals and gang members as is often claimed.

Nor is anyone “interfering with the process”! They are legally protesting the tactics being used. Something that is protected by law and ICE are themselves legally obligated to respect. The authorities do have to ensure they carry out their duties within the law, but they aren’t. They are encouraging them to break the law and are defending them when they do.

Why you think anyone would defend a murderer, a rapist or a robber whatever their background might be, makes no sense at all.
