There’s a lot of people who read these boards and don’t post. I quite frequently get DMs. Just a couple of excerpts from what I’ve had recently:

Mate,I don't know how you are able to take on about 10+ accounts on here that are clearly tapped,racist bigots. Kudos to you!

And:

We just want to say that there are many on here who share your view but just don't wish to get ganged up on them lot-most keyboard warriors.

This is meant to be a site for all Palace. The BBS is far more popular because it is far more representative of the bulk of Palace fans in my experience (the HOL was far more balanced c.10 years ago).

You’d be hard pressed to hear some of the opinions of those on here in the pubs of Norwood before and after games. So either the BBS is a better reflection of the average Palace fan, or those that share your views don’t have the balls to air them in public.

You say the BBS is more statistically representative of Palace fans, Dan ? And HOL is only for right wing nutjobs ? try to support Brexit on the BBS. Or the Israeli side of the argument ? or even try to defend Trump. See how long you last ? and i have deliberately chosen arguments that did get a load of votes. Certainly Trump and Brexit.

BBS is run by the left, for the left and it's banned most right wing opinion it doesn't like......You complain about this site because it isn't left wing or as big as the bbs? So what? Isn't that the 'minority' representation that you lot lie about caring about?

Most Palace fans aren't that political and I know it's hard for your soy brain to accept but Reform lead in the polls. The right deserve representation.

So no, single websites are rarely 'more representative of the bulk of Palace fans' genius because the bulk of Palace aren't commenting on the political parts of Palace forums.....or even Palace forums generally.
