Yeremy Pino

Of course there is a player in there. Yo dont get repeatedly picked for Spain if you are cr@p

Unfortuently for him he's in a team who is currently on the ropes.

Midfield has no creativity.

Hasn't been a right side (until yesterday)

CF misses 99% of chances given to him.

Pino in general does receive the ball with some regularity and is involved "In the Game" sometimes without having a positive influence ! Johnson yesterday looked totally lost, was hardly involved at all.At present that role does not appear to suit him.Johnson has a tremendous turn of pace, he likes to run at defenders, in fact Neil Warnock has said that he is a player who gets fans off their seats when he gets the ball.

Yes, it's an interesting comment. I've said before that Pino does not seem to have pace. I wonder with his technical ability, if he could be a future central midfielder (not in our system) or a ten?

I actually think this sort of hybrid 10 role in Glasner’s system is about as good a fit as he will find, in theory anyway.

But agree with you - in terms of more conventional roles, I think he’s got more chance as a 10 or as part of a 3 man midfield.

I don’t think that’s accurate at all.

Run beyond defenders, certainly, but he’s never been a particularly effective dribbler.

One can only guess how a player with a brilliant pedigree manages to be so useless every week.

his levels of confidence ? trouble adapting to the English game ? language barriers ? being played out of position ? who knows ?

Not managing to stay on his feet? Getting brushed off the ball too easily? I suppose that comes under ‘trouble adapting to the English game’

Thought he had one of his better games today.
Looked like a central number 10, roaming in the middle and dropping to get the ball more.
He still done a couple of stupid passes which are frustrating, but looked better.

i just dont think he is suited to be playing in the current formation.
The current formation completely removes the attacking threat from the 2 10s when you are in the last third and its not a counter attack.

Different when you have extremely good dribblers as 10s, they can make something happen.
2 10s who can only run in straight lines doesn't work.

You are definitely in the minority on here with your assessment of Piño today .

I still think he will work out to be good for us

Blimey, if that’s one of his better games😳 you do know Pino is the little Spanish bloke who keeps falling over and passing to the other team? 🤣

I think it is difficult to judge most of the players right now. We need a manager with some tactical flexibility, who lets the players play, who doesn’t worship one system, who doesn’t openly criticise his players in public, who actually wants to be here and cares if we win, who doesn’t say he “doesn’t care” if he gets sacked.

Look at the difference getting rid of Amorim has made to Man Utd. The likes of Cunha, Casemiro, Sesko look like completely different players. That’s what we need

He's been completely useless.. But today, he showed glimpses of what he can offer, he was allowed to roam more and dropped deeper which he hasn't done all season.. maybe you didnt see it, but it happened.😂
