A straw-Poll to name our Invincibles

Location
Area 51
Country
USA
A record breaking Era for us. Two bits of silverware plus we, briefly, challenged to top the table. It must go down in our history with a suitable moniker.

- Glasner's Glaziers ?

- SE19's 19, 19 , 19 (postcode, number of games undefeated, approx number of players involved, age of our academy players)

- Golden Eagles ?

- Selhurst Sally Rods ?

other ?

Youtube has 'age restricted' the music video for '19'...cos the carnage wreaked by the flying predators in Vietnam matches the damage our Talons did to the Premier League darlings.

Selhurst = The area's name means “where willows grow” or “dwelling in a wood.” It was named Selhurst because it was once home to many willow trees.

For this season I suggest "The Vincibles" - Cambridge Dictionary definition "Able to be defeated or successfully controlled or dealt with", e.g., "The team has looked distinctly vincible recently, although they pushed their opponents hard." (I haven't made that up, that's what it says. Not sure about the second half of the sentence.)

If you’re married, also known as “under the thumb”

explains why we bloom in spring and summer lol

How about "Palace on top of the Hill" ? seems to match our architectural origins - but of course it doesnt match our 164 years of football woes. One of the woes being, like many lads in Croydon, we cannot even be sure of our correct date of Birth - nor our correct paternity.
