Forest Predictions.

7-6 win.

6 down at HT but a surprise managerial substitution inspires Borna Sosa to bung six beautifully crafted goals into their net. On the 137th minute Henderson gets moved up front to replace the red carded Uche and scores a bicycle kick from the half way line.

Mateta seen in a half and half scarf riding a pony ahead of the team bus. VAR doesn't spot it.
Clearly, this is the ramblings of a mad man!!!!!

This spurred me on to find out the longest bicycle kick ever scored.
Of course it was Ibrahimovic. How could I forget? Perhaps there have been even longer ones but I think officially this takes the prize.

Palace are really out of sorts this season , I feel there’s a decent enough 15/16 players left in the squad to choose from to scrap a top Half finish and conference cup win if the right system and choices are made .
Circumstance appears to be our biggest enemy though , Extra games , Unmotivated players , Manager and players looking to leave , Injuries , New main Stand costs etc .
I just can’t see any improvement happening until Glasner goes the transfer window closes and a decent manager is appointed , So 3–1 to Forest is my prediction .

Understandably, not a great deal of optimism apropos the result tomorrow.
Should W.Ham get positive results at Chelsea and away to Burnley next week with the resultant affect that the gap between ourselves and the 'Hammers' is reduced it really will be 'Squeaky bum' time.

Dyche is old school in his methods and will no doubt have noticed our weaknesses at set pieces particularly on the second phases.
Furthermore , we will have no 6’ 4” Mateta guarding the near post or the adept Guehi reading situations and organising our defence.
I think Forest will dominate us physically and can see them scoring from a set piece with us again failing to keep a clean sheet.
I can also see us failing to score more than one goal.

The great thing is that football isn’t played on paper and hopefully we’ll discover some resilience or get lucky as we revert to the role of the underdog.

Forest have hit some form predictably,as we play them next.

Fabulous 4-0 win for them last Thursday and they must be in super confident mood for a similar result against a very demotivated Palace, with their range of problems.

Just 11 first team players to choose from and a very weak bench. There’s no one to replace a tiring Hughes or Lerma in our middle midfield two - can’t see anything other than a defeat :-(

We don’t currently have the leaders or the team spirit for this game.

Forest will be physical, totally up for it. Their crowd will be a twelfth man and we just won’t have the desire for this and won’t win our duels.

Our only slight hope is by taking an unexpected lead somehow, as Dyche teams don’t seem to get much from games that they are behind in.

3-0 down at half time, a Julen Lopetegui moment, and a 4-3 victory with all goals by Uche.

When Julen Lopetegui joined Wolves they were rock-bottom after 15 PL games.
Wolves finished 13th that season, 7 points clear of Leicester who finished in 18th place and were relegated. One of his signings was Matheus Cunha on Loan from Atlético Madrid.
I meant the West Spam bit 😛
