Watching some highlights of Guessand, one thing I do think he's going to offer, which we have been sorely missing since Eze's departure, is the ability to receive the ball with a defender on his back and turn into space - Pino is too weak to pin the man so often looks to release it first time rather than turn and drive.
We're nowhere near as good at playing through the lines when we are pressed high this season, as we don't have anyone particularly comfortable receiving under pressure.
Zaha and then Eze were both excellent at it - from what I've seen of Guessand, he seems to have the same trait.

Why would anyone want Turin over South London? After all our area is immortalised by Camille Pissarro, the French Impressionist and mate of Claude Monet. That’s why so many French players want to come to Palace. They have seen the artworks in the top galleries around the world including Winter in South Norwood Hill, Crystal Palace Parade, Sydenham Church and so on. Offer them a years subscription at Dulwich Picture Gallery and they will sign for a pittance….well £100k a week anyway.
