So two Chelsea supporters seen signing ,clapping , celebrating in Main stand.

called out by 1 supporter bothering to not accept it whilst others did.Well done him.

Security called …two big security dudes meandering for 10 minutes not sure what to do or how to approach. But handed it over.

later our super Ground staff / Support lady approached them got the info & ejected in 80th min

Whomever owned & sold those tickets Will be banned from future games no doubt !

You can buy tickets for ANY game at Selhurst on sites like stub hub and ticket master in any part of the ground . Its whoever gives these sites access to tickets (to sell at premium rates) that are to blame for non Palace supporters in 'Home' enclosures . That must be the club unless anyone can prove different .

So its a bit off if you are a tourist , buy a couple of tickets and a half and half scarf and start cheering when the goals go in to then get chucked out for enjoying yourself .
Giving these sites tickets is always going to be a way in for away fans if their allocation is sold out . We cant really complain about it when they do .Its not as if we haven't done the same 🙂

Would imagine the seat numbers were noted so the club will know where the original supply came from & presumably cancel the membership of whoever those season tickets were allocated to.

I am a season ticket holder. You may be aware that you can put you ticket up for sale if you can't attend. The club then manages the resale. I did this for the Chelsea game, but I had no control over who buys the ticket, and how the club ensures that it won't go to an away fan.

Good for him? Surely if he was the only one bothered by it he could have just asked them to tone it down a bit rather cause all the disruption involved with ejecting people from the ground with only 10 minutes to go. As someone else has said they may just have been neutrals enjoying a game of football. I always enjoy talking to opposition supporters.

Not relevant if the season ticket owners have sold their ticket through the club site. Ticketmaster don't, as far as I know, check on a buyer's football allegiance. I found myself next to an Italian tourist at the Spurs game who happened to be in London over the Christmas period and wanted to watch a PL game. He was a neutral. I know the chap whose season ticket it was didn't sell that match ticket to him.

I'm fortunate in that when I'm unable to go to matches (usually illness or holiday) the chap the other side of me usually wants my ticket for one of his grandchildren so I transfer it to him under friends and family on the club site.

The Chelsea fans were stupid to show their allegiance as they did.

I can understand if the tickets were not sold through the club ticket resale, as I had a problem with them a few weeks ago.
My son and myself couldn’t attend the home game against Villa so I listed our tickets for resale about a week before hand. I didn’t give it another thought and expected the accounts to be credited with the funds (£31 each!) However when I checked about 2 hours before the game to see if the accounts had been credited I saw that they hadn’t been sold. I had no notification that they were not sold and was then left with no time at all to offer them to friends and family, and unsurprisingly nobody could use them.
From now on I will not list tickets with the club. Firstly they take a fair chunk of money for selling them and then if they don’t sell them it’s too late to do anything about it.

hope I'm not wide of the mark, with the current ticketing situation. But, I seem to recall a discussion a few seasons ago on one of the CPFC Boards, where it was stated by at least a couple of posters , that it was standard practice for PL clubs (including Palace) so sell ST's for games to ticket agencies. as they got a bigger wedge ££ for doing so.
Only posting what i read, but it seemed a reasonable practice at the time and accounted for all the 'away' fans sitting in the wrong areas.

Midweek games generally don't sell out. And games where there is travel disruption or awkward times. And if the game is on the tv it's hard to resell your ticket on resale. I find selling my ticket here or on X for about £25 does be better.

Fight broke out in the holmesdale lower. Chelsea fan told to leave by fans around him refused and punch thrown by him. Next thing he was pinned to the floor by the crowd and carried out by stewards. Can’t recall that happening before in the HL
