Ex-Tory Home Secretary Suella Braverman defects to Reform UK

Former Home Secretary Suella Braverman has become the latest Conservative MP to defect to Reform UK.

She becomes the third sitting Tory MP to join Nigel Farage's party in the last eleven days, and takes Reform's tally of MPs to eight.

Unveiled at a rally in London, Braverman told Reform supporters she had also resigned her Tory membership of 30 years, adding: "I feel like I've come home."

Her defection comes hot on the heels of Robert Jenrick and Andrew Rosindell, who also left the Conservatives earlier this month.

Conservatives who defect for personal gain are welcome to do so.
Farage of course once commented that he would not accept Braverman into Reform !
Nothing more to add, I have a Conservative meeting tonight and I suspect this matter will form part of a discussion.

The good thing about these right wingers defecting from the Tory party to Reform is that Wisbech Eagle gets his theory tested about the popularity of the Tory party.

The power balance in the Tories is significantly shifting towards his socially liberal fiscal conservative lens that he professes to believe in.....That Rory Stewart, Michael Heseltine-ism.....Drenchingly wet pro EU Conservatives who are proud of the Cameron and May changes to Tory social policy.

After the election Wisbech claimed on here that this type of Conservativism would be successful.....On these very pages.

Now that will be exposed for the absolute rot it was.

He's been rinsed so often on here that he might as well de-evolve back to being a fish and head back into the sea.

I'm not against this. As I posted earlier I want people to be able to vote for what they want. In the post I voted conservative (small c) and got social liberal. No doubt many hard core socialists will also complain that they also feel cheated by Labour governments with Tory policies.

Hopefully Reform and the Corbyn party will not at least let people vote for what they were promised.

Just need a black bloke now (James Cleverley anyone ?) to finally stifle the 'racists party' shouters.
May as well chuck in some lesbians while there at it, to shut the lot up (the lipstick type of course).
 
has nobody yet mentioned the secret double agent.....the getter of massive numbers of votes for Reform..... Sir Keir. The best Frienemy Nigel Farage ever had. Almost as good as Biden was across the Pond.
