yes understand your current frustration with him , but the pile you are saying is totally out of order , tone it down a little please , his stats will always show him as a good striker , not a great one give you that , but you dont get 56 goals by being useless , and he has scored some really great goals , and against Brighton so that alone is worth respect 👍

You sound like the sort of fan that forgives Glasner for not winning in 11. It’s not your job to police criticism of Mateta. With the amount of chances created for him (he’s missed 8 straightforward chances in recent times) I reckon, as do a lot of supporters that he deserves every bit of criticism he gets and it’s not coming from a pack of Wolves as you like to refer to fellow supporters.
 
When he went through on goal yesterday, I didn’t break from the chat I was having with my mate, knew he wouldn’t score.
He had a purple patch for a year when he was unplayable, it happens (see Solanke before he went spurs), mateta has reverted to what he really is now.
Gutting as him and Glasner should have left as heroes.
Although in JPMs defence, Glasner said he hasn’t handed in a transfer request, so can’t c* nt him for that.
Can’t see anyone giving us more than £20m for him now. F*ck me we paid more than that for the Pratt at the back that gave Chelsea their first goal , which is the same that Man City paid for donnaruma (spelt wrong) wtf

I cant forgive Glasner , how he has conducted himself has seen to that ,so you should read my posts before making unfound comments , also said I understand the frustration or did you choose not to read that , also tone it down a little was also said , not stop , as for criticism just look at your own post pot kettle black comes to mind , all I did was show what he has done for us , so criticism yes but dont turn it in to a bloodlust , also I wish we had another option but with injurys its been a tough time , but we can mess about with the front line with Sarr back now ,

well JP can he hasnt cu#ted the players off or anyone else , look at cost v results he is still in credit even with a crap run of form , but its a case of him scoring or leaving sooner have him scoring , but I think the football Gods have hidden them boots

I agree with most of what you said but i also think glasner through jp under the bus at "that" press conference.
He had no need to mention him at that point other than to try and further justify his own petulant act of throwing toys out of the pram!!
 
Considering JP has supposedly not submitted a transfer request, I read in the clickbait articles but importantly listen to TalkSport and Sky Sports and they all report that he’s looking to leave Palace. Who are we supposed to believe?

Good point. That would tick his desire to play at the highest level of club football but surely he will have to perform to get included in the French World Cup squad, and he ain’t doing that at the moment.
I presume he’d get paid more so that would be two out of his three wishes granted. I can see this happening.
 
At the end of the day JP wants to treble his 50k a week. Must be difficult getting by on that JP but get where you're coming from looking at some of the wages.
 
I love JPM and last season and the back half of the one before that he was incredible. For that he will always, in my head, have a place in Palace folklore and my respect.

But despite his great hold up play and being a constant handful to defenders Mateta's finishing in one on one chances this season have been terrible. There is no other way to put it. Even if he'd put away half the opportunities we'd be comfortably in the top ten and much more in the mix for Europe again next season. I think a move is the best thing all round.

Forest though? All the media messages are that he wants to sign for a club in the Champions League or likely to qualify next season. Forest have no chance of the CL through the League and look a long way off winning the Europa League. This has shades of Neil Redfearn wanting his transfer up north only to turn up at Watford...
