In an ideal world we could buy them out, or even relocate them, or even redevelop the supermarket at a slightly lower level in order to release the huge site behind the goal again after 45 years. I guess this belongs on the Selhurst development thread, but I wanted to share your frustrations about why we still cannot compete financially and why the same things would probably happen again were we to build a similar quality side again in the future. Depressing.

think we offered to build them a new one somewhere a few years ago and they declined the offer.

A new Sainsbury’s should have been built on the existing car park with two storey car parking above it or something similar to the layout of Morrisons in Caterham. It would have got rid of all the issues in one hit.

I'm rather simplistic, and you either back a manager or vent your feelings as a crowd.

villa and Liverpool haven't teams have beaten us on set plays but not all of them , thats not sussing us out thats making sure they get good balls in the danger arena from set plays , sadly teams did , look at the difference between Newcastle corners against us then in the wolves match , that ended up nil nil
 
I thought Glasner did well during his press conference.

He stuck by what he had said previously and agreed that his outburst shouldn't have happened. I think that's a reasonable outcome.

That's not to say all is forgiven but it does begin to draw a line under it. And if Parish has decided to keep Glasner in the job then that was what was needed.

Also it was good to hear that Mateta has not submitted a transfer request. Although I'm sure there's no smoke without fire there and he would like a move away.

So I feel better about tomorrows game now. I hope everyone gets behind the team - we really need a win.

Totally agree. I know we operate at the speed of a snail when it comes to expanding the ground, but surely there is/was an opportunity to give all parties what they want here. We could have increased our support quite easily by adding another 10,000 affordable seats behind that goal. I know we aren't Liverpool and cannot yet buy all of Park Road and continuously expand the stadium like some clubs do, but surely it shouldn't take 45 years to get a supermarket relocated.

Hopefully we start well as this should finally start to lift the mood. The atmosphere at Selhurst has been poor recently for a number of reasons.
