This Wikipedia page is quite useful for working out this complicated competition. The next important date for the diary if we can get past Zrinkski on Thursday night is the 27th February, when we will learn whether we will host Larnaca or Mainz on Thursday 12th March, followed with a trip to Cyprus or Germany the Thursday after for the 2nd leg.
Basically we made it harder for ourselves by not beating KuPS although it could also be argued that having the extra matches has given us more useful European experience.

He was, and remains, a popular figure of the club. Rightly so.
He’s had some at least minor success in Cyprus as a coach, too. I don’t think it would be all that great for us if he took the AEK job, other than a nice “romantic” reunion narrative for the length of two fixtures.
