2 bob tournament.
 
A panenka and the last kick of the game ! Absolutely crazy .
How is he going to feel ..that will haunt him for years .
 
The Moroccan stadiums were great and they were favoured by playing all their games in the same Rabat stadium. But their were rumours and insinuations of ref. bias in their other matches and they weren't all that good.

Feel sorry for their No.10 who got the foul for the penalty (and it was a foul by Diouf of West Ham undoubtedly) but he had to wait ages to take the kick and mishit his attempted Panecka.

Speaking of West Ham I'd take both Diouf and Wan Bissaka - they would strengthen our defence. Wan Bissaka a good replacement for Munoz.

I expect Senegal to be heavily fined or suspended for walking off and harassing the ref.

Fantastic stadium in Rabat. Work started in 2023 I believe. Whole thing cost less than half of the proposed cost of new Palace stand (if it happens).

He had ages to go and practice pens with his goalie down the other end 😂
 
Wouldn’t surprise me if Senegal get stripped of the trophy. Even though the pen was weak no team should walk off the pitch. Morroco have a case that the long delay influenced the penalty miss?

Honestly, I think the punishments will work the other way round.

I'll be surprised if Morocco are allowed to host a major tournament ever again.

yes, a happy player and one who started the tournament but was mainly a sub in the last 4 or so games. He definitely didn't come on in 2 of those so should be reasonably rested.

Almost a winter break!
