Parish Out

I think you've nailed it, what came over in the interview was Glasner's shock that he hadn't been in on the decision making process.
I would like to have thought that Steve would have convened a meeting at CC with both OG & MG in the room together

It would be considered the right working relationship

Olise, Andersen and Eze, how much for them 3 ?about 150 mill, to receive that much for 3 players and have the bench we've had for the last couple of league games just goes to show how bad our transfer strategy has been.
You also need to consider the absence of Munoz, Kamada, Sarr, Doucoure, Riad (albeit he was on the bench yesterday), Nketia. Add these to the bench, plus a keeper, plus Canvot, Uche and Sosa (all signed under Glasner) and you have 10 players to make a decent bench. Glasner also seems to rate Cardines, and then there is Kpora. How many more players do you want to buy that are good enough for the first team when there isn't even room on the bench? How much would you spend?

Well, if he helps us move a few places up the league that would easily halve that figure. Plus we are now much less likely to win the Conference League as the drop off between him and Lerma/Canvot is immense. I doubt we would have won the FA Cup without him
Or any of the last nine games we didn’t win… 🤦

not impressed with Sosa or Pino or Canvot.

Clyne is ok as a journeyman. 99% of the time you can depend on him to bang out a good defence. For at least 60 minutes per game. Of course he gets shown up by elite players like Haaland or Gabriel Jesus. But mostly Clyne is dependable.

Parish out ? i dunno. Be careful what you wish for.......

Glasner has no justification to moan about Guehi. He knew he would be sold if an acceptable offer arrived. Why would he be consulted? I expect Marc made himself non available. His heart wasn’t in it the previous game. Would Glasner really expect to force a reluctant Marc onto the field and into the dressing room?

It’s a manufactured excuse designed to divert responsibility. He wants to be sacked and I suspect has already been tapped up. Parish has his contacts so probably knows just what’s going on so has called his, and the other club’s, bluff.

Who actually handles training and the team next weekend is going to be interesting. I hope Paddy steps up after Parish addresses all the players, and staff, to inform them that Glasner has been given a holiday as he has considered he has been showing stress. If, and when, he returns then he can be asked to assist with coaching the ladies until the club decide he is fit to return to first team duties but in the meantime there is to be no official contact with the media or any male player. Put on gardening leave!
