Glasner Out

Well he better start getting results or the fans will turn
On that point I agree completely. Now we all know he is leaving in the summer he needs to turn results around or fans will definitely start wanting him gone.
The only way everyone sticks behind him now is if results pick up. Cant see us getting much tomorrow but after that he needs to start picking up points

A post earlier mentioned 91, and I was thinking Parish needs to be really on the ball because history does repeat itself.
Also, the season is barely 2 months in, and Glasner tells Parish he's off? Yeah, ok... He's been found out, tactically one dimensional, one season wonder - will suit Manchester United...

So the football world’s worst kept secret is out.

I would like to know , but doubt I’ll ever find out , what were the exact reasons were for Glasners decision in October . All the suspected issues have been denied by him so what prompted it ?

Also, why announce it now ? Particularly the day before a tough away match. My only thought is that it was about to be leaked by somebody as is often the case.

I’m glad he’s staying to honour his contract. Bringing someone else in now would not only be difficult but even more disruptive than knowing that he’s going.

Yep, totally found out in October. At which point we had lost total of 2 games 👏

Even in the strange world of football management he might be making things tricky for himself with his moving between jobs. How attractive a prospect will he be for bigger clubs who generally spend a lot more on players to buy them to fit a particular style when the manager who wanted them won't stay much longer than a couple of years? Of course that's the case with most managers but they don't all have such specific player requirements.
Big clubs are likely to be more prepared to sack a manager than indulge one who'll probably leave of his own accord.

That may well be. Why then did he tell Parish he was off? He could have furthered his success here - or is it that he never stays in one place too long before it all goes horribly wrong? Other chairmen will notice a pattern no doubt.
I did say at the beginning of the season he'd be off and he will honour his contract.
That said, how does this affect the players? Did they know he had told Parish he was off in October, or is it a bolt out of the blue? After the non-performance against Macclesfield their reaction in the next few games will prove critical. Can Glasner motivate them? I guess we will find out soon.

Thats how I see it. If we want to try and win the CL we have a far better chance letting Glasner see it through rather than a new guy comes in and takes weeks to get his ideas across and get them playing the way he wants.
These players are well drilled, they know their jobs and what is needed from them. Plus I think Glasner will want his reputation to be in good nick when he leaves. Its in his personal interests to do well between now and June

I was about to post yesterday that I anticipate an announcement would be made in short order but was interrupted by a call relating to the departure of Robert Jenrick and thereafter politics consumed my time !!
Some while back I mentioned privately, and perhaps on HOL, that all the time there was a news 'Blackout' supposition and speculation would continue unabated.

I question both the October timing and that of today’s announcement. It’s difficult to trust most people in football so who knows if we will ever know the truth.

I didn’t think he would stay and I also thought he would honour his contract. As for motivating the players, he needs to follow the example set by his captain. Continue to give his best and strive for the best second half of the season possible .

As you say, we will soon find out !
