No, not the vintage British soap opera. It feels like we are at a crossroads in our season and the direction we take could be quite decisive on our short to medium term future.
We're on a terrible run of form and have slipped down to 13th in the table, out of both domestic cups. However, we are just about still in the Conference League and only five points behind fifth in the Prem, a probably Champions League place.
This could, in theory, still turn out to be an all-time great season with two genuinely credible routes into a bigger European competition next season and, as unlikely as it feels right now, another cup, but it feels like the leadership at the club need to get their act together and make some big decisions quickly.
The limbo over Glasner's contract has to be hurting us. Putting Saturday and recent form aside, I think most of us would still welcome news that he'd signed a new deal and it would probably help us keep some of our key players at the club this summer.
That, in turn, would justify further outlay in the January window which could help us kick on.
It all feels very doom and gloom but I think there are genuine reasons to be excited. Munoz and Kamada coming back from injury will immediately give us a massive lift and I'm really excited to see a front three of Mateta, Johnson and Sarr for the first time. If we can get that XI out with a stronger subs bench, our form will quickly turn.
Additionally our fixture list is a bit looking easier for a while. Sunderland up next who haven't won in five in the league and are missing key players, followed by Chelsea, Forest, Brighton, Burnley, Wolves, United, Spurs and Leeds. Some winnable games in there, even against the big clubs.
