The only way to taint last year?

My feeling is now we were never likely to win the FA Cup again this year so why battle through several rounds. We have now got out early and can concentrate on what is important this year. The Conference League (no weakened team there now!) We need to win it - and get in the Europa League next year - even if we don't finish top five - a top ten finish will be fine !

Ok I don`t understand how does it taint winning our first two major trophies?
If on the morning of the FA cup final, we had been offered winning the FA Cup and the Community shield but the price would be to lose in the third round to a non league, would anyone have turned that down?
Saturday was embarassing but in a few weeks it will be forgotten, the FA Cup win will be remembered for a long time.
