Maybe after last season we decided we just couldn’t be arsed with all the faff of dealing with UEFA, sending things to the wrong email address and all of that. Decided we couldn’t be bothered with it all hence todayf*** UEFA

Cracking post fellaPalace players always get an easy ride off the fans. All we ask for is a decent effort and if the other team is better, so be it.
Even after Larnaca, the open goals at Strasbourg, the Leeds shambles it was a murmur at worst.
Sometimes there is a basic standard that only the fans can enforce. This is one such performance. Heat has to go back onto this team until they get back to a standard.
1. The Pino chanting needs to stop. He's had enough time.
2. The club must compensate the poor supporters who travelled for tickets and transport. Frankly, the players should volunteer it.
3. Sosa must never play for Palace again. Sell this month to any taker. Bring through Benamar instead.
4. Glasner must be pulled off his high horse. His 'you're lucky to have me' s*** seems to be rubbing off on the team. He isn't demonstrating the tactical nouse to manage at a higher level anyway. Commit to the club this month or take the decision out of his hands and line up the replacement with a thank you for the great work up to now.
5. Get the Munoz replacement/backup in. The team is a shambles without that position filled.
Far too many of this group are getting under the impression that they're bigger than the club without delivering any recent evidence of it and it is spreading through them like a virus.

BORING !!!A season that started so well is turning to s*** and the buck stops with Parish and the board.

I'm always very cynical about losing to minnows. How much did we want to win? It's the way you go out.
We should not be going out by a tier 6 team and with such lack of performance.
We played a lot of our main players which was available so not second string as you are claiming
Spot on. Totally agreePalace players always get an easy ride off the fans. All we ask for is a decent effort and if the other team is better, so be it.

The problem was we got drawn against the lowest ranked team in a competition we could do without.
Three more wins in the league and the Conference Cup is all we need worry about. Winning that would be massive, and this day will be forgotten by everyone except Macclesfield and the BBC.

Sutton Utd ( Conference League) knocked out Coventry City (Old First Division and reigning FA Cup champions) in 1988, 2-1. I suppose it’s whether the old 5th division was classed as non league or not.I checked it out:
The last time a non-league team beat the FA Cup holders before today's events was in the 1908-09 season. In January 1909, Crystal Palace (then a non-league/Southern League side) knocked out the reigning FA Cup holders Wolverhampton Wanderers in the first round.
What a strange full circle moment that was.

If it was a one off or a freak result I’d agree, but it isn’t. We’ve been in alarming form for some time. This season we’ve struggled against so called “smaller” teams than us. Truth is this was a continuation of a pattern rather than an aberration.I'm always very cynical about losing to minnows. How much did we want to win?

We all know that we didn’t strengthen the team enough but once the summer window closes you have to work with what you have.Stop sucking him off and look at reality.

More like getting a new girlfriend, having a year of fantastic sex and then her announcing she’d now rather “have a cuddle and watch Strictly”It's like finding out your girlfriend has just given your best mate a blow job.
Ok...it's nothing like that.
I just fancied a bit of hyperbole.

Well, in fairness, losing to Newcastle away, Man City or Leeds away is a bit different from losing to Macclesfield. Yes, we have been limited without Sarr and Munoz, along with Mateta being out of sorts, and that is the difference between winning and losing. If it was a one off or a freak result I’d agree, but it isn’t. We’ve been in alarming form for some time. This season we’ve struggled against so called “smaller” teams than us. Truth is this was a continuation of a pattern rather than an aberration.
We simply have no ideas when a team gives us the ball and plays us on the break. OG has shown he is tactically clueless in these scenarios. His teams are set up to play without the ball and he cannot adapt.
I’ve also said before we are a soft touch and look like we aren’t up for a physical competition. Without Munoz and some times Hughes we lack players with competitive edge for professional footballers. Not vey PC but frankly our players need to man the hell up.

It is then up to the manager to utilise the squad as best he can. I agree that this is limited in terms of quality but even our u21 should have been able to win today with the right effort and attitude.
What is so f***ing boring is that when’re we have a sh!t result like today people bang on about Parish and the board.
It’s f***ing boring
Get over it and move on.
